Interpreting optical signals from tailored arrays of metasurfaces

A system and method interpret optical characterization examinations performed with a set of optical devices. Each device comprises one or more arrays of optical metasurface structures and have arrays tailored to have distinct properties making them differ from one another. First data and second data are accessed that capture a physical fingerprint of each device and an outcome of an optical characterization examination performed with each device, respectively. The outcomes of examinations performed are impacted by the respective, distinct properties of the arrays. Each device is identified based on the first data accessed, which makes it possible to obtain a readout key associated with the identified device. This readout key accounts for the respective one of the distinct properties. Finally, the second data are interpreted according to the readout key obtained to elucidate the outcome of the optical characterization examination. The invention is further directed to related computer program products.

Authentication of RGB video based on infrared and depth sensing

In one aspect, a device may include at least one processor and storage accessible to the at least one processor. The storage may include instructions executable by the at least one processor to access a first frame of RGB video content corresponding to a first time, access a first frame of IR video content corresponding to the first time, and access data from a depth sensor corresponding to the first time. The instructions may also be executable to determine whether at least a portion of the first frame of the RGB video content correlates to at least a portion of the first frame of the IR video content and/or the data from the depth sensor. Responsive to a determination that it does, the instructions may be executable to authenticate the RGB video content and indicate the RGB video content as being authenticated via a graphical user interface.

Device, system, and method for performance monitoring and feedback for facial recognition systems

Disclosed is a process for performance monitoring and feedback for facial recognition systems. A first image for image matching from a camera capture device at a first location is received for purposes of image matching. A highest match confidence score of the first image to a particular stored enrollment image is determined. One or more image or user characteristics associated with the first image or first user is identified. The identified image or user characteristics and highest match confidence score are added to a facial recognition monitoring and feedback model. Subsequently, a particular one of the stored image or user characteristics consistently associated with a below-threshold highest match confidence score is identified, and a notification is displayed or transmitted including an indication of an identified facial recognition low match pattern and identifying the particular one of the stored image characteristics or user characteristics.
