SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF COVERT IDENTIFICATION
In order to avoid friendly fire incidents in the combat theater, novel covert identification systems and methods of identifying friendly forces are provided. The systems include at least a spectroscopic imaging device and a marker that interact with each other by using a synchronized, predetermined filter tuning sequence. The filter tuning sequence enables interacted photons to wavelength hop according to the predetermined tuning sequence. As a result, the covert identification system allows friendly forces to clearly identify each while avoiding detection by enemy forces that employ conventional broadband and night vision sensors.

SYSTEM, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MACROSCOPIC INSPECTION OF REFLECTIVE SPECIMENS
An inspection apparatus includes a specimen stage, one or more imaging devices and a set of lights, all controllable by a control system. By translating or rotating the one or more imaging devices or specimen stage, the inspection apparatus can capture a first image of the specimen that includes a first imaging artifact to a first side of a reference point and then capture a second image of the specimen that includes a second imaging artifact to a second side of the reference point. The first and second imaging artifacts can be cropped from the first image and the second image respectively, and the first image and the second image can be digitally stitched together to generate a composite image of the specimen that lacks the first and second imaging artifacts.
Sensor and autonomous vehicle
An autonomous vehicle having a sensor and a sensor having a plurality of light transmitters and a plurality of light receivers that are arranged in a common housing, with the optical axes of the light transmitters and light receivers being arranged in parallel or in fan form in different angle directions having angular intervals, whereby a protected field is formed, and having a control and evaluation unit for monitoring and evaluating the protected field, wherein a camera is connected to the control and evaluation unit, with camera images of the camera being evaluated by the control and evaluation unit.
DISPLAY PANEL, DISPLAY APPARATUS, AND METHOD FOR PREPARING DISPLAY PANEL
The embodiments of the present disclosure provide a display panel, a display device, and a method for manufacturing the display panel. The display panel comprises: a display module comprising a fingerprint recognition component; a packaging cover plate located on a light emergent side of the display module; and a plurality of light path adjustment devices located between the packaging cover plate and the fingerprint recognition component, wherein each of the light path adjustment devices comprises an optical fiber structure and a convex lens structure, which are arranged opposite each other, with the convex lens structure being located on the side of the optical fiber structure that is away from the packaging cover plate; and the light path adjustment devices are configured to adjust incident light reflected by a finger so as to reduce the angle of divergence of light entering the fingerprint recognition component.

EXTENSIVIEW AND ADAPTIVE LKA FOR ADAS AND AUTONOMOUS DRIVING
A system and method for assisted driving include an extensive view sensor and an adaptive lane keeping assistant to detect traffic information in front of a leading vehicle based upon sensors mounted on sides of a host vehicle. The sensors may be cameras, radars, or LiDAR units. The sensors are side placed so that they can minimize the blocked view area. In order to achieve better view of the traffic in front of the leading vehicle, aLKA is also presented to adjust the lateral position of the host vehicle relative to the leading vehicle. Based on the detected information, the host vehicle can predict the traffic changes and prepare ahead of time.

Scenario recreation through object detection and 3D visualization in a multi-sensor environment
The present disclosure provides various approaches for smart area monitoring suitable for parking garages or other areas. These approaches may include ROI-based occupancy detection to determine whether particular parking spots are occupied by leveraging image data from image sensors, such as cameras. These approaches may also include multi-sensor object tracking using multiple sensors that are distributed across an area that leverage both image data and spatial information regarding the area, to provide precise object tracking across the sensors. Further approaches relate to various architectures and configurations for smart area monitoring systems, as well as visualization and processing techniques. For example, as opposed to presenting video of an area captured by cameras, 3D renderings may be generated and played from metadata extracted from sensors around the area.
