CLASSIFICATION OF A POPULATION OF OBJECTS BY CONVOLUTIONAL DICTIONARY LEARNING WITH CLASS PROPORTION DATA
A method is disclosed for classifying and/or counting objects (for example, cells) in an image that contains a mixture of several types of objects. Prior statistical information about the object mixtures (class proportion data) is used to improve classification results. The present technique may use a generative model for images containing mixtures of object types to derive a method for classifying and/or counting cells utilizing both class proportion data and classified object templates. The generative model describes an image as the sum of many images with a single cell, where the class of each cell is selected from some statistical distribution. Embodiments of the present techniques have been successfully used to classify white blood cells in images of lysed blood from both normal and abnormal blood donors.
DRONE PRE-SURVEILLANCE
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a storage device, for using a drone to pre-surveil a portion of a property. In one aspect, a system may include a monitoring unit. The monitoring unit may include a network interface, a processor, and a storage device that includes instructions to cause the processor to perform operations. The operations may include obtaining data that is indicative of one or more acts of an occupant of the property, applying the obtained data that is indicative of one or more acts of the occupant of the property to a pre-surveillance rule, determining that the pre-surveillance rule is satisfied, determining a drone navigation path that is associated with the pre-surveillance rule, transmitting, to a drone, an instruction to perform pre-surveillance of the portion of the one or more properties using the drone navigation path.
SYSTEMS, METHODS AND DEVICES FOR PROCESSING BATCHES OF COINS UTILIZING COIN IMAGING SENSOR ASSEMBLIES
Currency processing systems, coin processing machines, coin imaging sensor assemblies and methods of making and methods of using the same are presented herein. A currency processing system is disclosed which includes a housing with a coin input area for receiving coins and coin receptacles for stowing processed coins. A disk-type coin processing unit, which is coupled to the coin input area and coin receptacles, includes a rotatable disk for imparting motion to coins, and a sorting head for separating and discharging coins to the coin receptacles. A sensor assembly is mounted to, adjacent or within the sorting head adjacent the rotatable disk. The sensor assembly includes a linear array of sensors, wherein the linear array of sensors is configured to sense coins processed by the coin processing unit, and to output a signal indicative of coin image information for processing the coins.
FINGERPRINT RECOGNITION PACKAGE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
Various embodiments disclosed herein relates to a fingerprint recognition package and, according to one embodiment, the fingerprint recognition package may comprise: a circuit board; an image sensor die attached and electrically connected to the circuit board; a light-shielding member applied to the circuit board; and an adhesive member attached to one side of the light-shielding member. Various other embodiments are also possible.
Imaging System Using WiFi Signals
A passive incoherent millimeter-wave imaging system includes a receiver array including a plurality of receive modules configured to receive a scene signal reflected from a scene. The scene signal is reflected in response to a plurality of incoherent communication signals being reflected off the scene, and the plurality of incoherent communication signals are spatially and temporally incoherent at a point when reaching the scene.
MODULAR NIGHT VISION SYSTEM FOR VEHICLES
Present invention discloses a night vision system for a vehicle and method of installation for the night vision system on the vehicle. The night vision system includes a mount, a night vision device detachably mountable on the vehicle using the mount. The night vision device is mounted pointing over a road for detecting one or more objects present on and alongside the road. The system further includes a display device configurable within an interior region of the vehicle for displaying a video stream received from the night vision device to a user driving the vehicle. The display device is configured to embody a program product for enabling the display device to receive, process and display the received video stream on the display device.
COMPUTER VISION SYSTEM THAT PROVIDES INFORMATION RELATIVE TO ANIMAL WELLNESS AND HABITAT/INTERVENTION DESIGN
A computer vision system includes a camera that captures a plurality of image frames in a target field. A user interface is coupled to the camera. The user interface is configured to perform accelerated parallel computations in real-time on the plurality of image frames acquired by the camera. The system detects and tracks animal wellness and habitat/intervention design.
Adaptive forward lighting system for vehicle comprising a control that adjusts the headlamp beam in response to processing of image data captured by a camera
An adaptive forward lighting system for a vehicle includes a camera having a field of view in a forward direction of travel of the vehicle. A control includes an image processor that processes image data captured by the camera to determine presence of an object in the field of view of the camera. The control receives vehicle data via a communication bus of the vehicle, with the vehicle data including vehicle trajectory data. The image processor processes captured image data to determine presence of lane markers in the field of view of the camera. The control adjusts a light beam emitted by a headlamp of the vehicle at least in part responsive to determination of the presence of the object in the field of view of the camera. Adjustment of the light beam of the vehicle headlamp may depend, at least in part, on trajectory of the vehicle.
Image capturing device and image capturing method for alternately switching two light filters
An image capturing device includes an image capturing unit, a light filter module, a light sensing unit, an infrared light source and a processing unit. The light filter module includes a first light filter and a second light filter. The first light filter filters an infrared and allows a visible light to pass. The second light filter filters a visible light and allows an infrared to pass. The light sensing unit senses an environmental light. When the processing unit determines that an intensity of the environmental light is higher than a threshold, the processing unit alternately switches the first light filter and the second light filter to a front of the image capturing unit, controls the image capturing unit to capture a visible light image through the first light filter, and controls the image capturing unit to capture an infrared image through the second light filter.
Passenger counting device, system, method and program
The image processing system acquires a first image by causing a first photographing device to photograph a vehicle illuminated by a first light source and a second light source, wherein the second source illuminates the vehicle from a direction different from that of the first light source. The system acquires a second image by causing a second photographing device to photograph a photographing range same as that of the first photographing device through a first filter. The system acquires a third image by causing a third photographing device to photograph a photographing range same as that of the first photographing device through a second filter type of which is different from that of the first filter. The system generates a fourth image by processing on the first image, the second image and the third image.
