A method of monitoring a target object uses a first imaging device to provide first images of a first area at a first resolution and processing the first images to detect a position of the target object in the first area. A second imaging device is used to provide second images of a second area that is a part of the first area and contains the detected position of the target object. The second images are at a second resolution that is higher than the first resolution. The second images may be analysed by a processor to determine characteristics of the target object.

Display module and display device

A display module includes: a liquid crystal module, a cover plate, and a texture recognition unit. The texture recognition unit includes a first light source and a texture sensing module. The first light source is located at a side of the cover plate proximate to the liquid crystal module, and is configured to emit invisible light. The texture sensing module is located at a side of the liquid crystal module facing away from the cover plate. A light wavelength range of light allowed to pass through the cover plate and the liquid crystal module includes a light wavelength range of the invisible light. The texture sensing module is configured to collect reflected light after the invisible light is irradiated to a target object, so as to identify a texture of the target object.

SYSTEMS, METHODS AND DEVICES FOR MONITORING BETTING ACTIVITIES
20230260360 · 2023-08-17 ·

System, processes and devices for monitoring betting activities using bet recognition devices and a server. Each bet recognition device has an imaging component for capturing image data for a gaming table surface. The bet recognition device receives calibration data for calibrating the bet recognition device. A server processor coupled to a data store processes the image data received from the bet recognition devices over the network to detect, for each betting area, a number of chips and a final bet value for the chips.

A card reader includes a camera mounted on card reader housing and a card input tray supported by the card reader housing. The card input tray provides automated alignment of a card by being at an inclined angle sufficiently steep so that when the card is placed into a front of the card input tray, the card will tend to slide to a back of the card input tray and rest against a back wall of the card input tray, the back wall aligning the card to minimize document skew when scanning. Diffused light is used to illuminate the card when the card is within the card input tray.
