The integrated photo-sensing detection display substrate includes a base substrate; a plurality of light emitting elements on the base substrate and configured to emit light, a portion of the light being totally reflected by a surface thereby forming totally reflected light; a light shielding layer between the plurality of light, emitting elements and the base substrate configured to block at least a portion of diffusedly reflected light from passing through, the light shielding layer having a light path aperture in the inter-subpixel region allowing at least a portion of the totally reflected light to pass through thereby forming a signal-enriched light beam; a diffraction grating layer configured to at least partially collimate the signal-enriched light beam thereby forming a collimated light beam; and a photosensor configured to detect the collimated light beam.
INFRARED LIGHT SOURCE PROTECTIVE SYSTEM
A disclosed monitoring system includes infrared light sources that illuminate a subject in a sequenced manner and a camera that captures images of the subject during periods in which the subject is illuminated by one of the light sources. The system includes a processor that analyzes captured images to determine a brightness measure of the images, and a controller controls output power of the infrared light sources in response to the brightness measure. In response to the processor detecting a brightness measure below a predetermined brightness threshold, the controller is configured to switch off or reduce an output illumination intensity of one of the infrared light sources. A disclosed method further determines whether an emission source is occluded by modulating an intensity of an electromagnetic emission source, detecting whether the modulation pattern is present in captured images, and determining that the emission source is occluded based on the detected modulation.
Ophthalmoscope using natural pupil dilation
An ophthalmic device having a single or dual compartment configuration selectively emits infrared and visible light beams onto one or a pair of target eyes. The device performs eye fundus imaging and aids in the detection of ailments as indicated by anomalies in the pupillary reflex.
Excitation array multiplexing for active non-destructive inspection imaging systems
A method includes exciting, at a first time period, a first set of pixels in an excitation array, wherein the first set of pixels comprises more than one pixel, and no pixel in the first set of pixels is adjacent to another pixel in the first set of pixels. The method also includes exciting, at a second time period, a second set of pixels in the excitation array wherein the second set of pixels comprises more than one pixel, and no pixel in the second set of pixels is adjacent to another pixel in the second set of pixels. The method retrieves excitation data, wherein the excitation data is comprised of data from the first set of pixels and data from the second set of pixels, and the excitation data is capable of being combined to reconstruct an image of a target object for rendering on a display.
Adaptive light source
A method includes capturing a first image of a scene, detecting a face in a section of the scene from the first image, and activating an infrared (IR) light source to selectively illuminate the section of the scene with IR light. The IR light source includes an array of IR light emitting diodes (LEDs). The method includes capturing a second image of the scene under selective IR lighting from the IR light source, detecting the face in the second image, and identifying a person based on the face in the second image.
PERSON DETECTION DEVICE AND PERSON DETECTION METHOD
A person detection device configured to analyze a fisheye image obtained by a fisheye camera installed above a to-be-detected area to detect a person existing in the to-be-detected area includes a human body detector configured to detect a human body candidate from a fisheye image and output, as a detection result, a bounding box indicating a region on the fisheye image of each human body candidate detected, a reference storage configured to prestore a reference for a shape and/or size of the bounding box for each position or area on the fisheye image, and a false detection determining unit configured to compare the shape and/or size of the bounding box of the human body candidate contained in the detection result with the reference corresponding to a position where the human body candidate is detected to determine whether the human body candidate results from false detection.
Display screen, display module, and terminal
Provided are a display screen, a display module, and a terminal. The display screen includes a display layer. The display layer has a fingerprint recognition area. The fingerprint recognition area is provided with an array of transparent thin film transistors and a transparent medium among the transparent thin film transistors. The terminal includes the display screen described above, and further includes an optical fingerprint module and a frame. The display screen and the optical fingerprint module are fixed on the frame. The optical fingerprint module is on one side of the display screen away from a user of the display screen for display and located in a position corresponding to the fingerprint recognition area, so as to allow lights transmitted and received to pass through the fingerprint recognition area.

Information processing device and material specifying method
Data of a captured image including a polarized image is acquired (S10), and space information relating to a position and a posture of a subject in a real space and the position and the posture on an imaging plane is acquired using the captured image data (S12). Next, a polarization degree distribution is acquired from a polarized image of a plurality of orientations (S14), and a position of a light source is acquired by specifying an image of a true light source by threshold value determination of the polarization degree (S16). A reflection characteristic is acquired by applying a rendering equation under assumption that luminance of the captured image is already known (S18), and a material suitable therewith is specified as a material of the subject (S20). Processing according to the material is performed to generate output data and output the data (S22).
