Systems and methods for improved 3-D data reconstruction from stereo-temporal image sequences
In some aspects, the techniques described herein relate to systems, methods, and computer readable media for data pre-processing for stereo-temporal image sequences to improve three-dimensional data reconstruction. In some aspects, the techniques described herein relate to systems, methods, and computer readable media for improved correspondence refinement for image areas affected by oversaturation. In some aspects, the techniques described herein relate to systems, methods, and computer readable media configured to fill missing correspondences to improve three-dimensional (3-D) reconstruction. The techniques include identifying image points without correspondences, using existing correspondences and/or other information to generate approximated correspondences, and cross-checking the approximated correspondences to determine whether the approximated correspondences should be used for the image processing.
Electronic endoscope processor and electronic endoscopic system
An electronic endoscope processor includes a converting means for converting each piece of pixel data that is made up of n (n≥3) types of color components and constitutes a color image of a biological tissue in a body cavity into a piece of pixel data that is made up of m (m≥2) types of color components, m being smaller than n; an evaluation value calculating means for calculating, for each pixel of the color image, an evaluation value related to a target illness based on the converted pieces of pixel data that are made up of m types of color components; and a lesion index calculating means for calculating a lesion index for each of a plurality of types of lesions related to the target illness based on the evaluation values calculated for the pixels of the color image.
PHOTO-TAKING PROMPTING METHOD AND APPARATUS, AN APPARATUS AND NON-VOLATILE COMPUTER STORAGE MEDIUM
The present disclosure provides a photo-taking prompting method and apparatus, an apparatus and a non-volatile computer storage medium. On the one hand, a user's image information is collected while the user finds view, then the user's face posture information is obtained from the image information, then face posture information of a preset photo-taking template is compared with the user's face posture information, and the user is prompted to adjust the face posture according to a comparison result. The technical solutions provided by embodiments of the present disclosure may implement prompting the user's face posture adjustment while the user finds view and thereby implement providing guidance for the user's face posture, and solve the problem in the prior art about failure to perform photo-taking guidance while the user finds view.
Pattern Matching Device and Computer Program for Pattern Matching
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a pattern matching device and computer program that carry out highly accurate positioning even if edge positions and numbers change. The present invention proposes a computer program and a pattern matching device wherein a plurality of edges included in first pattern data to be matched and a plurality of edges included in second pattern data to be matched with the first pattern data are associated, a plurality of different association combinations are prepared, the plurality of association combinations are evaluated using index values for the plurality of edges, and matching processing is carried out using the association combinations selected through the evaluation.
Image Measurement Device
There are included a probe that can be arranged in an imaging field of view, a horizontal drive section for causing the probe to contact a side surface of a workpiece on a stage, a display section for displaying a model image, a contact position designation section for receiving designation of contact target position information in the model image, a characteristic amount information setting section for setting characteristic amount information, a measurement setting information storage section for storing a plurality of pieces of contact target position information and the characteristic amount information, and a measurement control section for identifying a position and an attitude of the workpiece from a workpiece image by using the characteristic amount information, for identifying a plurality of contact target positions on the side surface of the workpiece where the probe should contact, based on the identified position and the identified attitude of the workpiece.
Seed germination detection method and apparatus
Versions of the disclosure relate to methods of imaging and detecting germinated seeds on a soilless growth medium.
System and method for the contextualization of molecules
A system and method that given one or more input molecules, produces a contextualized summary of characteristics of related target molecules, e.g., proteins. Using a knowledge graph which is populated with all known molecules, input molecules are analyzed according to various similarity indexes which relate the input molecules to target proteins or other biological entities. The knowledge graph may also comprise scientific literature, governmental data (FDA clinical phase data), private research endeavors (general assays, etc.), and other related biological data. The summary produced may comprise target proteins that satisfy certain biological properties, general assay results (ADMET characteristics), related diseases, off-target molecule interactions (non-targeted molecules involved in a specific pathway or cascade), market opportunities, patents, experiments, and new hypothesis.
Authentication based on a physical key
A device may obtain registration data associated with a registration of an individual. The registration data may include an image that depicts a physical key and a reference object. The device may process the image to identify a first feature of the physical key and a first measurement of the first feature based on the size of the reference object. The device may store first feature data based on the first feature and the first measurement. The device may obtain second feature data based on a second feature of the physical key and a second measurement of the second feature identified from an insertion of the physical key into a keyhole of an authentication mechanism. The device may determine whether the first feature data corresponds to the second feature data. The device may authenticate the individual based on determining that the first feature data corresponds to the second feature data.
Method and apparatus for mammographic multi-view mass identification
A method, applied to an apparatus for mammographic multi-view mass identification, includes receiving a main image, a first auxiliary image, and a second auxiliary image. The main image and the first auxiliary image are images of a breast of a person, and the second auxiliary image is an image of another breast of the person. The method further includes detecting the nipple location based on the main image and the first auxiliary image; generating a first probability map of the main image based on the main image, the first auxiliary image, and the nipple location; generating a second probability map of the main image based on the main image, the second auxiliary image, and the nipple location; and generating and outputting a fused probability map based on the first probability map and the second probability map.
Authentication of a Physical Credential
Aspects described herein may provide detection of a physical characteristic of a credential, thereby allowing for authentication of the credential. According to some aspects, these and other benefits may be achieved by detecting the physical characteristic with the credential. An image of a credential may be received. An optical characteristic of a secure feature of the credential may be determined. An expected optical characteristic of the secure feature may be determined based on known properties of the secure feature. A determination as to whether the credential is authentic may be based on a comparison of the determined optical characteristic of the secure feature to the expected optical characteristic of the secure feature.
