A method and an apparatus for processing a screen by using a device are provided. The method includes obtaining, at the second device, a display screen displayed on the first device and information related to the display screen according to a screen display request regarding the first device, determining, at the second device, an additional screen based on the display screen on the first device and the information related to the display screen, and displaying the additional screen near the display screen on the first device.

ADJUSTING RESOLUTION OF VIDEO STREAM BASED ON OPTICAL CHARACTER RECOGNITION
In one aspect, a first device includes at least one processor and storage accessible to the at least one processor. The storage includes instructions executable by the at least one processor to locally generate first optical character recognition (OCR) data related to at least a first video frame of content. The instructions are also executable to receive, from a second device different from the first device, second OCR data related to at least a second video frame of content. The instructions are then executable to compare the first OCR data to the second OCR data and, responsive to the comparison indicating the first OCR data does not match the second OCR data to within a threshold, take at least one action to adjust the resolution of a video stream such as a video conference's video stream.
DISPLAY APPARATUS AND METHOD OF DRIVING THE SAME
A display apparatus includes: a display panel including a plurality of pixels; a data driver which applies data voltages to the pixels; a gate driver which applies gate signals to the pixels; and a driving controller which controls the data driver and the gate driver. The method includes acquiring an image generated by an infrared sighting telescope arranged on a firearm; determining a grey level dynamic range of a preset first portion of the image; if a difference value between the grey level dynamic range value and the grey level of the preset second portion reaches a preset starting processing threshold, performing mean filtering processing on each pixel of the preset second portion to obtain a filtered grey level; and if the filtered grey level is greater than a preset grey level expectation threshold, processing the pixel, so that the grey level of the pixel is close to the grey level expectation value.

Identifying spatial locations of images using location data from mobile devices
A system determines spatial locations of pixels of an image. The system includes a processor configured to: receive location data from devices located within a hotspot; generate a density map for the hotspot including density pixels associated with spatial locations defined by the location data, each density pixel having a value indicating an amount of location data received from an associated spatial location; match the density pixels of the density map to at least a portion of the pixels of the image; and determine spatial locations of the at least a portion of the pixels of the image based on the spatial locations of the matching density pixels of the density map. In some embodiments, the image and density map are converted to edge maps, and a convolution is applied to the edge maps to match the density map to the pixels of the image.
Arrangement for generating head related transfer function filters
Arrangement for acquiring images for producing a head related transfer function filter is disclosed. In the arrangement the camera of a mobile phone or similar portable device is adjusted for the imaging. All acquired images are analyzed and only suitable images are sent further for producing the head related transfer filter. The arrangement is further configured to provide instructions to the user so that the whole head and other relevant body parts are sufficiently covered.
Method for commissioning a network of optical sensors across a floor space
A method includes: accessing a floorplan representing the floorspace; and extracting from the floorplan a set of floorplan features representing areas of interest in the floorspace. The method also includes, calculating a set of target locations relative to the floorplan that, when occupied by the set of sensor blocks: locate the areas of interest in the floorspace within fields of view of the set sensor blocks; and yield a minimum overlap in fields of view of adjacent sensor blocks in the set of sensor blocks. The method further includes, for each sensor block in the sensor blocks installed over the floorspace: receiving, from the sensor block, an image of the floorspace; based on overlaps in the image with images from other sensor blocks in sensor blocks, estimating an installed location of the sensor block; and mapping the sensor block to a target location in the set of target locations.
