Document rectification via homography recovery using machine learning
Techniques for document rectification via homography recovery using machine learning are described. An image rectification system can intelligently make use of multiple pipelines for rectifying document images based on the detected type of device that generated the images. The image rectification system can provide high-quality rectifications without requiring human cooperation, multiple views of the document in multiple images, and/or without being constrained to only be able to process images from one source context.
LICENSE PLATE READING SYSTEM WITH ENHANCEMENTS
System and methods are disclosed for capturing license plate (LP) information of a vehicle in relative motion to a camera device. In one example, the camera system detects the LP in multiple frames, then aligns and geometrically rectifies the image of the LP by scaling, warping, rotating, and/or performing other functions on the images. The camera system may optimize capturing of the LP information by executing a temporal noise filter on the aligned, geometrically rectified images to generate a composite image of the LP for optical character recognition. In some examples, the camera device may include an image sensor, such as a high dynamic range (HDR) sensor, modified to set long and short exposures of the HDR sensor to capture frames of a vehicle's LP, but without consolidating the images into a composite image. The camera system may set optimal exposure settings based on detected relative speed of the vehicle.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MOBILE AUTOMATED CLEARING HOUSE ENROLLMENT
Systems and methods for mobile enrollment in automated clearing house (ACH) transactions using mobile-captured images of financial documents are provided. Applications running on a mobile device provide for the capture and processing of images of documents needed for enrollment in an ACH transaction, such as a blank check, remittance statement and driver's license. Data from the mobile-captured images that is needed for enrolling in ACH transactions is extracted from the processed images, such as a user's name, address, bank account number and bank routing number. The user can edit the extracted data, select the type of document that is being captured, authorize the creation of an ACH transaction and select an originator of the ACH transaction. The extracted data and originator information is transmitted to a remote server along with the user's authorization so the ACH transaction can be setup between the originator's and receiver's bank accounts.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR OBTAINING INSURANCE OFFERS USING MOBILE IMAGE CAPTURE
Systems and methods for using a mobile device to submit an application for an insurance policy using images of documents captured by the mobile device are provided herein. The information is then used by an insurance company to generate a quote which is then displayed to the user on the mobile device. A user captures images of one or more documents containing information needed to complete an insurance application, after which the information on the documents is extracted and sent to the insurance company where a quote for the insurance policy can be developed. The quote can then be transmitted back to the user. Applications on the mobile device are configured to capture images of the documents needed for an insurance application, such as a driver's license, insurance information card or a vehicle identification number (VIN). The images are then processed to extract the information needed for the insurance application.
Answer correction method and device
The disclosure provides an answer correction method and a device, including: determining the target test paper that matches the test paper to be corrected; marking the area of each answer in the test paper to be corrected as the first answer set, and marking the area of each answer in the target test paper as the second answer set; matching each answer area in the first answer set and the second answer set, and adjusting the position of the answer area in the first answer set on the test paper to be corrected; for each answer area in the second answer set, determining the target answer area in the first answer set according to the position information of the answer area on the target test paper, and correcting the answer in the determined target answer area according to the answer in the answer area. The disclosure can solve the problem in the related art that the accurate position of the answer filled by the student cannot be identified, thereby affecting the correction of the answer.

Optical character recognition (OCR) based systems and methods for extracting and automatically evaluating contextual and identification information and associated metadata from an image utilizing enhanced image processing techniques and image segmentation. A unique, comprehensive integration with an account provider system and other third party systems may be utilized to automate the execution of an action associated with an online account. The system may evaluate text extracted from a captured image utilizing machine learning processing to classify an image type for the captured image, and select an optical character recognition model based on the classified image type. They system may compare a data value extracted from the recognized text for a particular data type with an associated online account data value for the particular data type to evaluate whether to automatically execute an action associated with the online account linked to the image based on the data value comparison.
