The table top further includes one or more USB ports that power/support optional accessories that plug into the table top, such as a light, magnifying lens, and/or a fan.

Adjustable bed systems with rotating articulating bed frame

A rotating and articulating bed has a fixed bed frame, a rotation assembly mounted on the fixed bed frame, a pivot assembly mounted on the rotation assembly and an articulating bed frame mounted on the pivot assembly. The articulating bed frame contains a plurality of pivotally connected distinct portions. The rotation assembly rotates the pivot assembly and the articulating bed frame with respect to the fixed bed frame on a plurality of discrete wheel bearings around a vertical axis passing through the rotating and articulating bed. The articulating bed frame articulates the distinct portions and the pivot assembly tilts the articulating bed frame with respect to a horizontal plane that is perpendicular to the vertical axis independent of rotation by the rotation assembly and articulation by the articulating bed frame.

Lift for extremity surgical positioning device

The present inventive subject matter describes a device and system for positioning, adjusting, and stretching a patient's extremity for surgical procedures where alignment is critical and minute adjustments may be required repeatedly. The device helps in maintaining the patient's extremity stationary, once the physician has selected the precise position for the elected procedure. The device uses using a combination of an articulating and a rotating frame, support plates and support rings that are attached to the extremity surgical positioning system. The system acts as a limb splint that is firmly attached to the surgical table. The support plates are attached to the patient via a series of adjustable straps preventing the extremity from moving independently of the support plate. A locking rack and gear configuration has adjustable locking pivot points that are positioned along and within the outer/inner proximal tube and outer/inner distal tube that lengthens or rotates various portions of the extremity.

A kit of parts for assembling a limb irrigation pan device includes a base having first and second opposing sides formed with alternating indentations and protrusions extending along the first and second opposing sides. A first side wall has alternating spaced indentations and protrusions formed along a bottom section of the first side wall to enable the first side wall to be mounted to the base by inserting the alternating spaced indentations and protrusions formed along the bottom section of first side wall into corresponding alternating indentations and protrusions along the first side of the base. A second side wall has alternating spaced indentations and protrusions formed along a bottom section of the second side wall to enable the second side wall to be mounted to the base by inserting the alternating spaced indentations and protrusions formed along the bottom section of the second side wall into corresponding alternating indentations and protrusions along the second side of the base. First and second end panels mount onto opposite ends of the base so as to extend upward and substantially perpendicular to the base in parallel relation to each other to form a frame with the first and second side walls. A sling has coupling components along two opposite sides. The coupling components are adapted to attach the sling to the first and second side walls whereby the sling is coupled to the frame.

An extremity support system comprising a board having an upper surface that supports a resilient member. The board has a curved portion that facilitates it to pivot when connected to a table or bed. It also has a plurality of openings for holding a plurality of straps that can be positioned over the resilient member. The resilient member also includes a rounded end for facilitating the board to pivot; and a top furrow that supports and provides access to an extremity extending off the surface of the table or bed of a patient laying in a plurality of positions. In addition, the straps have methods of placement to function as non-occlusive non-obstructive guardrails that maintain the extremity in the furrow of the resilient member, do not interfere with the ability of the board to pivot, and do not touch the extremity under usual circumstances thereby preventing injuries to an arm or a leg.
