Patient support apparatus having a telescoping assembly
A patient support apparatus comprising a base, an intermediate frame arranged for movement relative to the base, a support deck disposed on the intermediate frame to provide support for a patient, and a telescoping assembly operatively attached to the intermediate frame. The telescoping assembly comprises a support movable between a collapsed position and an extended position, a lock operable to releasably hold the support in the extended position, and an accessory manually movable by a user relative to the support between a stowed position and a use position. The accessory comprises a deactivator operable to deactivate the lock remotely from the user in response to the user manually moving the accessory relative to the support toward the stowed position thereby enabling movement of the support from the extended position to the collapsed position.
Cushioned support system for heel ulcer prevention
A cushioned support device includes a pad for supporting a portion of a patient's leg, a securing system coupled to the pad and configured to secure the portion of the patient's leg to the pad, and a connecting member coupled to the pad and configured to couple the cushioned support device to a second cushioned support device.
Adjustable patient support apparatus for assisted egress and ingress
An adjustable patient support apparatus comprises a base, a support frame, and a patient support deck. The patient support deck comprises articulating deck sections, such as a leg section, seat section, and a back section pivotally coupled together. One or more actuators may be configured to move the leg and/or back section between a lowered position and one or more raised positions. The seat section may include one or more articulating seats to assist with ingress and egress from the patient support apparatus. The one or more seats may be articulated manually or electrically via a lever or actuator.
SUPPORT ASSEMBLY ATTACHABLE TO A PATIENT SUPPORT AND PATIENT SUPPORT HAVING SAME
A support assembly attachable to a patient support is disclosed. The support assembly includes a support unit configured to support one or more devices, and two connector units removably attachable to the patient support. The support unit includes a shelf for supporting one or more devices, two support legs extending downwardly from the support shelf and spaced apart from each other, and two support feet. The two connector units each include a patient support attachment portion removably attachable to the patient support, and a support unit attachment portion removably attachable to the respective support unit. The support unit attachment portion and the respective support foot include inter-engageable elements which can be moved relative to one another to move the support unit between an extended position and a retracted position when the two connector units are attached to the support unit. A patient support assembly is also disclosed.
TREATMENT CHAIR
Embodiments relate to an article of furniture comprising a drug delivery system; a support surface to support at least a portion of a living body; an enclosure to surround at least the portion of the living body; a bio-monitoring system to monitor a physiological state of the living body, a method of providing a therapy to a person using the device, and a method for estimating an effect of the therapy through the device.

Therapeutic cushion systems and methods
Apparatus and methods for providing therapeutic treatment for symptoms associated with GERD and/or other digestive disorders and/or other medical conditions are described herein. In some embodiments, an apparatus includes a support element and a conformable riser element adjacent the support element. The riser element and the support element collectively form a body support member configured to support a user and define a receiving portion configured to receive a portion of the user's arm. The riser element and the support element are each disposed within a casing formed at least in part with a stretch material. In some embodiments, the riser element includes a polyester filler material and the stretch material includes a four-way stretch material. The four-way stretch material in combination with the polyester filler material enables the riser element to be conformable.
