A bathroom facility transfer system, including a mobile base, a stationary base, and a removable bridge is disclosed. A user seated in a chair, is positioned adjacent to a bathroom facility with the mobile base. The removable bridge connects the mobile base to the stationary base, which is removably affixed to the bathroom facility, to allow the chair carrying the user to be moved between the mobile base and the stationary base. A chair blocking member on the removable base is movable between a) a chair blocking position, and b) a chair unblocking position. At least one opposed end of the chair blocking member interferes with movement of the chair onto the removable bridge from the mobile base or the stationary base, when the chair blocking member is in the chair blocking position. A method of assisting a user with accessing a bathroom facility is also disclosed.

A patient handling apparatus (10) comprising abase (30) with a frame (31) and a patient support device (20), the patient support device (20) being movable relative to the base (30). The patient support device (20) is movably mounted to the frame (31) between an upright and an inclined position, in which the patient support device (20) is inclined backwards or forwards in the inclined position relative to the upright position by means of a guiding arrangement (70). The guiding arrangement (70) comprises at least one frame guiding element (72, 84) mounted to the frame (31) and a support guiding element (71) mounted to the patient support device (20).

A device for caring for a human subject is disclosed. The device includes a frame including a base surfaces and side surfaces, and defining a hollow, and a liquid receptacle disposed beneath the frame. A conduit fluidly connects the hollow to the liquid receptacle. A cover is connected to the frame above the hollow. The cover includes a plurality of nozzles.

A foldable and displaceable bathing chair structure comprises a seat unit and a seat supporting unit. The seat unit comprises a movable cushion and at least two sliding components. Each sliding component comprises at least one roller and a seat positioning piece. The seat supporting unit comprises four folding units, four chair legs, two side pipe bodies and two cushion pipe bodies. Each folding unit comprises a first connecting part connected with the chair leg, a second connecting part connected with the side pipe body and a third connecting part connected with the cushion pipe body. Each cushion pipe body includes at least one seat positioning hole, and each side pipe body includes a folding switch component. The roller of each sliding component drives the movable cushion to move thereon. The folding switch components enable the chair legs to be displaced relative to the cushion pipe bodies.

A transfer seating assembly for facilitating transitioning of a user to a shower enclosure or tub includes a plate, a plurality of legs, and a seat. The legs are engaged to and extend substantially perpendicularly from a bottom of the plate. Each leg comprises a plurality of nested sections so that the leg is selectively extensible. The legs can be selectively extended to position the plate in a substantially horizontal position and at a desired height. The seat is rotationally and slidably engaged to a top of the plate and can be selectively and fixedly engaged to the plate. A user positioned in the seat can selectively slide the seat, and the user, from proximate to a first end to proximate to a second end of the plate. The user also is positioned to rotate the seat, and the user, relative to the plate.

A mover device for the body of persons with reduced mobility, suitable and configured for being positioned above an installation. The device comprises a frame and a motor-driven operating portion at least partially overhanging the installation, which comprises a plurality of support elements movable according to at least one degree of freedom and configured for at least partially supporting the weight of a person, for moving at least a respective part of the person's body with respect to the remaining parts of the body. The device also comprises at least one housing and gripping element to house and grip parts and/or joints of a body which can be engaged by a respective support element and configured for operating at least between a rest condition wherein it can engage a part of a body and a grip condition wherein it engages a part of a body.

A device for caring for a human subject is disclosed. The device includes a frame including a base surfaces and side surfaces, and defining a hollow, and a liquid receptacle disposed beneath the frame. A conduit fluidly connects the hollow to the liquid receptacle. A cover is connected to the frame above the hollow. The cover includes a plurality of nozzles.

A bathtub lift (1) includes a floor plate (2), a seat plate (3) adjustable to vary the distance between the seat plate (3) and the floor plate (2), and a back plate (4) detachably arranged on the seat plate (3). The back plate (4) supports an adjustment device (5) driven by a drive (6) for adjusting the distance between the floor plate and the seat plate. A locking device (7) is configured to release the back plate (4). The back plate (4) is not arranged on the surface (8) of the seat plate (3) facing away from the floor plate (2), and a detaching of the floor plate (4) is only made possible in a floor-plate-side end position of the seat plate (3).

Disclosed is a movable bath seat device employing a linear actuator to assist an individual with decreased mobility in and out of a bathtub. The linear actuator employs a direct current motor with limit switches to move the seat between positions. The device permits an individual to take a position on the seat outside the bathtub and, by use of the actuator, move their torso to a position inside the bath tub side walls. The seat can then rotate, allowing an individual to lift their legs into the bathtub at their convenience. In a preferred embodiment, the cushion on the rotating seat assembly is constructed of a slip resistant padding comprised of medical grade, closed cell molded polyurethane padding that does not absorb water.
