In an embodiment, the device comprises a display, comprising: a visible light source; and an infrared source, the visible light source and the infrared source being integrated into a single radiation source component within the display, and the infrared source emitting an infrared radiation biometrically authenticating a user of the device. In another embodiment a display integrated infrared source is disclosed.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE SUPPORTING FINGERPRINT VERIFICATION AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THE SAME
An electronic device and method of operating an electronic device is provided. The electronic device a display in which a fingerprint recognition area is formed in at least one portion thereof; a fingerprint sensor disposed under the display on which a screen is displayed, wherein the fingerprint sensor is adapted to acquire image information related to authentication of a fingerprint corresponding to an object that approaches a fingerprint recognition area at least partially based on light radiated from at least one pixel of the display and reflected by the object; and a processor adapted to control at least one function of the fingerprint sensor in association with the operation of acquiring the image information.
Card swiping method and device for determining mobile terminal for swiping card, utilizing intensity of ultrasonic signal
The present invention relates to a card swiping method for determining card swiping of a mobile terminal by using ultrasonic signal strength, comprising: closely contacting, by a mobile terminal, a card reading device, wherein a multi-interface integrated circuit module in the mobile terminal receives a ultrasonic signal transmitted by an ultrasonic wave transmitting module in the card reading device; measuring, by the multi-interface integrated circuit module, strength of the received ultrasonic signal, and comparing the measured strength with an ultrasonic signal strength threshold which allows card swiping; and if the strength of the received ultrasonic signal received by the multi-interface integrated circuit module is greater than the ultrasonic signal strength which allows card swiping, interactively performing card swiping procedures by the multi-interface integrated circuit module and the card reading device.
Fingerprint sensor employing an integrated noise rejection structure
A sensor has drive lines and transverse pickup lines to define an electrode pair where each pickup line crosses a drive line. A reference pickup line is arranged parallel to the pickup lines and a compensation drive line is arranged parallel to the drive lines. A signal source provides a first signal to the drive lines and a second signal that is the inverse of the first signal to the compensation drive line. An amplifier has a first input connected to a pickup line, a second input connected to a reference pickup line, and a output indicative of an object in contact with the electrode pair(s). Each impedance between the compensation drive line and a pickup line, between the reference pickup line and a reference drive line, and between the compensation drive line and the reference pickup line is equal to the impedance at the electrode pair when no object is contact with the electrode pair.
IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD AND COMPUTER-READABLE NON-TRANSITORY MEDIUM
An image processing device includes: a biometric sensor; and a processor to execute a process comprising: detecting base points of a first and a second fingers; calculating a first standard point between one of the base points of the first finger and one of the base points of the second finger; calculating a second standard point on a bisector of an angle formed by a straight line passing through one of the base points of the first finger on an opposite side of the second finger and the first standard point and a straight line passing through one of the base points of the second finger on an opposite side of the first finger, and the first standard point; and applying an affine conversion to the palm image so that coordinates of the first and second standard points are converted into predetermined coordinates.
Image Acquisition Apparatus, Terminal Device, Liquid Crystal Terminal Device and Image Acquisition Method
An image acquisition apparatus, a terminal device, a liquid crystal terminal device and an image acquisition method are provided according to the disclosure. The image acquisition apparatus includes an imaging plate and an image sensor disposed to be spaced apart from one side of the imaging plate. The imaging plate is provided with an imaging pinhole corresponding to the image sensor. The liquid crystal terminal device includes an LCD panel and a backlight element. The image acquisition apparatus is disposed at a position corresponding to the LCD panel within the backlight element. The image acquisition method includes acquiring an image of an object to being scanned by the image sensor through the imaging pinhole at a side of the imaging panel. An ultrathin fingerprint scanner can be formed based on pinhole imaging principle in the disclosure, and can be further combined with an LCD screen to accomplish fingerprint acquisition function.
