The fingerprint identification substrate includes a base substrate, a plurality of photosensitive modules on the base substrate, a collimating optical structure located on light entering sides of the photosensitive modules, a plurality of function layers and an insulation layer between every two adjacent function layers; where the photosensitive modules are configured to collect light rays reflected by a fingerprint; and the collimating optical structure includes light shading layers and light transmitting layers arranged alternately; where each of the light shading layers has a plurality of light transmitting holes; orthographic projections of the light transmitting holes on the base substrate are in orthographic projections of the photosensitive modules on the base substrate.

FINGERPRINT SENSING MODULE

A fingerprint sensing module including a substrate, a plurality of photosensitive devices, a collimation structure layer, a light-shielding layer, an interposer and a plurality of micro lenses is provided. The photosensitive devices are disposed on the substrate. The collimation structure layer is disposed on the photosensitive devices. The light-shielding layer is disposed on the collimation structure layer and has a surface and a plurality of first openings recessed from the surface. The first openings respectively overlap the photosensitive devices. The interposer is disposed on the collimation structure layer and positioned in a part of the first openings of the light-shielding layer. To this end, the external optical device is provided as an external type to be mounted in the existing portable terminal provided with a camera, and has an optical refractor and a mirror. The external optical device may generate a user's fingerprint image by an optical fingerprint input method, in accordance with circumstances, without interrupting the main use of a camera and an LED of the existing portable terminal.

The present disclosure provides a fingerprint image sensor and a method for optical wireless communications using the same. The fingerprint image sensor includes: a backlight plate; an image sensor unit, disposed above the backlight plate; and a protection layer, disposed above the image sensor substrate; wherein the fingerprint image sensor is configured to operate at least in a transmitting mode and a receiving mode, where in the transmitting mode, the backlight plate is turned on and configured to emit lights with different optical characteristics representing coded information, and in the receiving mode, the backlight plate is turned off and the image sensor unit senses external lights and convert the external lights to electric signals. The present disclosure further provides methods for transmitting and receiving information using the fingerprint image sensor. Accordingly, the fingerprint image sensor can work as a transceiver to realize optical wireless communications.
