Method of Driving Display Device Capable of Scanning Image
Disclosed in the present specification is a method for driving a display device capable of scanning an image, the display device comprising: a display module including a plurality of unit pixels arranged in a display area in which an image is displayed; and a contact sensor module forming a sensing area, which overlaps with the display area, and including at least one contact sensor respectively corresponding to the unit pixels, and the method comprising: a sensing mode identification step of identifying a sensing mode of the display device; a contact sensor selection step of selecting contact sensors to be activated, according to the identified sensing mode; and a contact sensor activation and sensing step of activating the selected contact sensors and receiving sensing signals from the activated contact sensors.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
An image processing apparatus includes an image division unit, an image processing unit, and an integration unit. The image division unit divides a palm print image into a plurality of divisional images. The image processing unit determines a valid region in each of the plurality of divisional images by using a fingerprint model, performs image processing that extracts core lines in each valid region, and generates respective processed divisional images corresponding to the divisional images. The integration unit generates an entire processed image corresponding to an entire of the palm print image by integrating the processed divisional images.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD AND PROGRAM
An image processing device comprises an input unit, a characteristic amount calculation unit, a characteristic amount vector calculation unit, and a characteristic identification unit. The input unit receives an image. The characteristic amount calculation unit calculates an image characteristic amount characterizing a texture of a local area of the image received by the input unit. The characteristic amount vector calculation unit calculates a first characteristic amount vector corresponding to the local area from the image characteristic amount. The characteristic identification unit identifies a characteristic of the local area on the basis of the first characteristic amount vector and a second characteristic amount vector calculated by the same method as the first characteristic amount vector and calculated from an image whose characteristic has been determined in advance.
Method for Controlling Unlocking and Terminal
A method for controlling unlocking is provided. When a touch operation of a finger of a user on a fingerprint recognition sensor of a terminal is detected, a first fingerprint image is received; a second fingerprint image is received according to a CAC parameter corresponding to a default finger when it is determined based on the first fingerprint image that the finger of the user is in a steady state, and N third fingerprint images are received according to N sets of CAC parameters; a target fingerprint image is determined and a fingerprint comparison is performed on the target fingerprint image; the terminal is unlocked when the target fingerprint image is matched.
METHOD FOR UNLOCKING MOBILE TERMINAL AND MOBILE TERMINAL
A method for unlocking a mobile terminal may include the follows. A set of feature points are acquired. The set of the feature points are acquired via a scanning partition of a fingerprint recognition sensor. The fingerprint recognition sensor includes M scanning partitions, the number of sensing electrodes within each of the M scanning partitions is greater than a first preset threshold, and M is a positive integer greater than 1. The mobile terminal is unlocked when the set of the feature points are successfully matched with a template stored in advance in the mobile terminal.
BIOMETRIC IMAGING DEVICE COMPRISING COLLIMATING STRUCTURES AND METHOD OF IMAGING IN THE BIOMETRIC IMAGING DEVICE
An optical biometric imaging device comprising: an image sensor comprising a plurality of photodetector pixels; a plurality of collimating structures arranged above the image sensor, the collimating structures being configured to limit the incident angle of light reaching the image sensor to be lower than a first predetermined incident angle Θ.sub.1; wherein at least a subset of the collimating structures comprises a light-blocking element configured to block light having an incident angle lower than a second predetermined incident angle Θ.sub.2, the second incident angle being lower than the first incident angle, wherein the light-blocking element is configured to allow light having an incident angle between the first and second predetermined incident angles to pass and wherein the light-blocking element is configured to block light within a first predetermined wavelength range.
Efficient Texture Comparison
A scannable object is sensed and scanned. A map is constructed based on the scan results. The map is compared to one or more stored templates. Results of the comparison are provided. In some implementations, a secured processor may construct the map and may provide reduced resolution (and/or other versions that contain less information) versions of the map and/or the stored templates to one or more other processors. The one or more other processors may determine a match-set based on matching between the reduced resolution map and stored templates. The secured processor may then identify whether or not a match exists between the map and any stored template based on the match-set.
Systems and methods for performing fingerprint based user authentication using imagery captured using mobile devices
Technologies are presented herein in support of a system and method for performing fingerprint recognition. Embodiments of the present invention concern a system and method for capturing a user's biometric features and generating an identifier characterizing the user's biometric features using a mobile device such as a smartphone. The biometric identifier is generated using imagery captured of a plurality of fingers of a user for the purposes of authenticating/identifying the user according to the captured biometrics and determining the user's liveness. The present disclosure also describes additional techniques for preventing erroneous authentication caused by spoofing. In some examples, the anti-spoofing techniques may include capturing one or more images of a user's fingers and analyzing the captured images for indications of liveness.
