Personal Lifting Apparatus
Embodiments of the present invention are related to a personal lifting apparatus including an outer frame with a pair of opposing sides, each side including an upper handle, outer vertical support, and a foundation bar. There is an upper crossbar and a lower crossbar extending from one side and connecting to the opposing side. A motor assembly is situated atop the upper crossbar and a threaded rod extends from the upper crossbar to the lower crossbar. An inner frame includes a pair of tracks attached thereto, a seat assembly attached to the pair of tracks and a threaded slide coupler fixedly attached to the seat assembly. The seat is pliable material. The seat assembly is structured to ascend and descend within the outer frame via the slide coupler. It is structured to align with the floor in a first position and lift a seated user to a second position.
WALKER APPARATUS WITH LIFTING PLATFORM
A support device may include a frame, a seat assembly and a lifting mechanism. The frame includes a base and an upright support. The seat assembly includes a seating surface and connecting means for operatively connecting the seating surface to the frame. The lifting mechanism is configured for vertically displacing the seat assembly between a lowered position and a seating position.
Self or assist-operated human floor lift
A self or assist-operated lift apparatus is disclosed. In various embodiments, the lift apparatus includes a vertical rail; a linear bearing positioned to be moved along the vertical rail; a drive mechanism coupled to the linear bearing and configured to move the linear bearing at a controlled rate along the vertical bearing between a first position at a lower end of a range of motion and a second position at an upper end of the range of motion; and a seat attached to the linear bearing, the seat being constructed at least in part of a substantially rigid material and having a size and shape suitable to accommodate a seated human occupant.
Patient lifting apparatus
An improved patient lifting apparatus comprising a base frame and a vertically disposed pulley system extending upwardly from the base frame. A patient support platform extends from the primary spine column to support the patient and is raised or lowered to different levels by engaging the crank to operate the pulley system.
Person hoisting device and a method for producing motive power of a person hoisting device
The person hoisting device has a frame (10), a person support which can be moved in relation to the frame, and moving means for moving the person support from a first location in relation to the frame to a second location in relation to the frame along a movement path. The second location is at a distance from the first location. The position of the person support in relation to the frame can be changed, and the moving means are arranged to move the person support in the direction of the movement path when changing the position of the person support in relation to the frame. The person support can comprise a seat (14) and an armrest (16). The moving means can comprise a hydraulic cylinder (22), a hydraulic pump (24) for pumping hydraulic fluid to the hydraulic cylinder, and a lever mechanism between the person support and the hydraulic pump for using the hydraulic pump. In the method, motive power is produced for a person hoisting device, which has a frame, a person support which can be moved in relation to the frame, and moving means for moving the person support from a first location in relation to the frame to a second location in relation to the frame along a movement path, which second location is at a distance from the first location. The motive power of the moving means is produced by changing the position of the person support in relation to the frame.
Combined mobile cart for sick and wounded
A combined mobile cart for the sick or wounded, includes a mobile cart and a mobile stretcher. The mobile cart includes a main body frame, a left retractable track mechanism, a right retractable track mechanism, a lifting and translating mechanism, and an automatic movable weight-balancing mechanism. The top of the main body frame is provided with the left and right retractable track mechanisms, a supporting layer is arranged in a middle of the main body frame of the mobile stretcher, and the automatic movable weight-balancing mechanism is arranged at a bottom of the main body frame; and the lifting and translating mechanism is provided with a left case body and a right case body, lifting ropes are arranged under the lifting and translating mechanism, and suspension tools are connected with the lifting ropes, so that functions of vertically lifting and vertically moving the mobile stretcher are realized.
Portable Light Weight Apparatus
A portable light weight apparatus (PLWA) that allows a user with limited mobility to accomplish tasks such as repairs and inspections around and under the house, RV, boat or vehicle that are difficult for a user with mobility limitations to do without the apparatus, beginning with a first side that is adjustable of approximately 6 to 12 inches from a floor surface, a second side that is adjustable of approximately 12 to 18 inches from a floor surface, a third side that is adjustable of approximately 18 to 28 inches from a floor surface, and comprised of handrails on the surface of the apparatus, making it easy for a user to grip anywhere on the apparatus for easy gripping for the user to either raise themselves up from the floor or lower themselves to the floor, utilizing one of the apparatuses sides at a time, by turning the apparatus over to one of its multiple sides of varying length from the floor.
