Systems and methods for card-handling by point of sale devices
A computer vision card reader and/or point of sale device is described. The device is configured to sense when a user inserts a card into a card reader and to determine when a user departs or is about to depart from the device without retrieving the card. The device may issue an audible or visible alert to the user, reminding the user to retrieve the card. The device may additionally send a notification to a mobile device associated with the user that reminds the user that he has left a card at the point of sale. In some embodiments, message sent to the user contains a code and, upon entry of the code, the point of sale or card reader device returns the card to the user.
Locking beverage container
A locking beverage container includes a container and a complementary removably securable lid. The lid includes a drinking aperture, a flap, and a lock. The drinking aperture is in fluid communication with the container when the lid is secured to the container and can be utilized by an individual to drink the contents of the container. The flap can be moved to a closed position to cover the drinking aperture to prevent access to the drinking aperture and contents of the container. The lock is operably connected to the flap and can selectively lock the flap in a closed position such that the flap cannot be moved by an unauthorized individual. The lock can also be unlocked thereby enabling the flap to move and enabling the individual to access and utilize the drinking aperture again.
Audio transducer system and audio transducer device of the same
An audio transducer device includes an audio transducer, a controller and a direction adjusting mechanism. The audio transducer has a sound receiving surface formed with multiple sound collecting holes, and multiple microphones corresponding in position to the sound collecting holes. The controller is detachably mounted to an electronic device, and controls the microphones to cooperatively perform directional sound reception to obtain audio data. The direction adjusting mechanism interconnects an audio transducer shell and the controller such that the sound receiving surface can be rotated to a position where a normal direction thereof and an image capturing direction of the electronic device forming a desired angle therebetween.
SELF-SERVICE TERMINAL AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING SECURITY AT A SELF-SERVICE TERMINAL
A self-service terminal and a method for providing security at a self-service terminal are disclosed, wherein the self-service terminal comprises: an imaging device, configured for providing at least one digital image; at least one processor, configured for applying a facial recognition method to the at least one digital image; and for controlling the self-service terminal using a facial recognition criterion depending on the result of the facial recognition method.
DISPLAY METHOD FOR A-PILLAR-MOUNTED DISPLAY ASSEMBLIES, AND DISPLAY DEVICE OF A-PILLARS OF VEHICLE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM THEREOF
A display method for a display assembly, a display system, and a display device of a vehicle column A, and a storage medium. According to the display method, by means of a conversion relationship between a coordinate system of a target feature model and a camera coordinate system of a driver monitoring assembly and a conversion relationship between the coordinate system of the target feature model and a world coordinate system, a conversion relationship between the camera coordinate system and the world coordinate system is obtained, a coordinate of the display assembly in the world coordinate system can be converted into a coordinate in the camera coordinate system, and thus whether a driver watches the display assembly can be simply determined. The problem that it is difficult to determine, directly according to the eyes of the driver and a spatial position of the display assembly, whether the driver watches the display assembly is solved, and the effect of reducing the difficulty of determining whether the driver watches the display assembly is achieved.
POWER OUTLET CAMERAS
A security system can be configured to mount to a power outlet. The security system can include an outwardly facing portion configured to face away from the power outlet and an inwardly facing portion having a first electrical prong and a second electrical prong that protrude into the power outlet to mount the security system to the power outlet. The security system can also include a detection system comprising a camera and a motion detector.
DNN Assisted Object Detection and Image Optimization
Systems and methods directed to adjusting an image based on a detected object depicted in the image are described. The method may include receiving an image from an image sensor, receiving statistical information associated with the image, detecting an object depicted in the image using a deep neural network, identifying object-specific statistical information for the detected object, generating a weighted object-specific parameter based on the object-specific statistical information, generating a weighted-image value based on the weighted object-specific parameter, providing the weighted-image value to the image sensor, where the image sensor is configured to update one or more image sensor parameters based on the weighted-image value, and acquiring an image from the image sensor updated with the one or more image sensor parameters.
Emoji recording and sending
The present disclosure generally relates to generating and modifying virtual avatars. An electronic device having a camera and a display apparatus displays a virtual avatar that changes appearance in response to changes in a face in a field of view of the camera. In response to detecting changes in one or more physical features of the face in the field of view of the camera, the electronic device modifies one or more features of the virtual avatar.
Image processing device
An image processing device includes: a measuring unit that measures a light quantity; an identification unit that identifies a region within an image-capturing range using the measured light quantity, the region having a light quantity higher than or equal to a predetermined light quantity; a setting unit that sets an image-capturing angle so that the identified region is out of the image-capturing range; and an image-capturing unit that captures an image for authentication at the image-capturing angle set by the setting unit.
Smart mirror system and methods of use thereof
A system comprising a mirror having a first side and second side, the mirror permitting a first portion of light incident on the first side to transmit therethrough and permitting a second portion of the incident light to reflect therefrom; an electronic display positioned adjacent to the second side of the mirror such that the electronic display is at least partially visible through the first side of the mirror responsive to the electronic display being at least partially activated; one or more sensors positioned generally about a periphery of the mirror configured to detect a presence and relative location of an object positioned adjacent to the first side of the mirror; a light source configured to emit light and at least partially aid in illuminating the object responsive to the object being adjacent to the first side of the mirror; and a camera configured to detect the object.
