NON-LINEAR LATENT TO LATENT MODEL FOR MULTI-ATTRIBUTE FACE EDITING

Systems and methods for image processing are described. One or more embodiments of the present disclosure identify a latent vector representing an image of a face, identify a target attribute vector representing a target attribute for the image, generate a modified latent vector using a mapping network that converts the latent vector and the target attribute vector into a hidden representation having fewer dimensions than the latent vector, wherein the modified latent vector is generated based on the hidden representation, and generate a modified image based on the modified latent vector, wherein the modified image represents the face with the target attribute.

Method for simulating the realistic rendering of a makeup product
11594071 · 2023-02-28 · ·

Disclosed is a method for simulating the rendering of a make-up product on the face of a subject, using a database of reference images including, for each reference individual, images of the face with and without the makeup product. The method includes: acquiring an image of the subject face without makeup; processing the image to extract, for each spatial area of each spatial frequency range of the image, first color feature values of the spatial area; determining, among the database of reference images, reference individuals having, when wearing no makeup, color feature values similar to the first color feature values of the subject; determining, from the first color feature values of the subject, and from color feature values of the reference individuals with and without the makeup product, second color feature values; and generating a modified image of the subject face based on the second color feature values.

Automated obscurity for digital imaging

Obfuscating a human or other subject in digital media preserves privacy. A user of a smartphone, for example, may enable a flag for obscuring her face in digital photos or movies. When any device captures digital media, the user's smartphone transmits the flag for receipt. The device capturing the digital media is thus informed of the user's desire to obscure her face or even entire image. The device capturing the digital media may thus perform an obscuration in response to the flag.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MAKING A CUSTOM MINIATURE FIGURINE USING A THREE-DIMENSIONAL (3D) SCANNED IMAGE AND A PRE-SCULPTED BODY
20220366654 · 2022-11-17 · ·

A system and method for making a custom miniature figurine using a 3D scanned image and a pre-sculpted body is described herein. The system includes a database, a server, a computing device, an automated distributed manufacturing system, and a 3D printing apparatus. An application of the computing device utilizes a camera of the computing device to scan a head of a user, create a 3D representation of the head of the user from the scans, combine the 3D representation of the head of the user with a pre-sculpted digital body and/or accessories selected by the user to create a work order, and transmit the work order to the automated distributed manufacturing system. The automated distributed manufacturing system performs digital modeling tasks, assembles a digital model, and transmits the digital model to the 3D printing apparatus. The 3D printing apparatus creates the custom miniature figurine.
