FACIAL ACTION UNIT DETECTION
An example system includes a landmark engine to detect a facial landmark in an image of a face. The system includes a comparison engine to determine a difference between the facial landmark in the image and a facial landmark of a neutral face. The system also includes an action engine to determine whether a facial action unit occurred based on whether the difference satisfies a condition.
Facial modelling and matching systems and methods
A matching apparatus for characterising the human face in order to facilitate the search for people with similar faces. The apparatus uses 3D modelling of a variety of image sources including video to characterise a subject's face using a set of parameters. These parameters are then used to identify other people or image sources which have a set of parameters which are similar to the subject's. Feedback from the users is used to improve future matching.
Semantic deep face models
Techniques are disclosed for training and applying nonlinear face models. In embodiments, a nonlinear face model includes an identity encoder, an expression encoder, and a decoder. The identity encoder takes as input a representation of a facial identity, such as a neutral face mesh minus a reference mesh, and outputs a code associated with the facial identity. The expression encoder takes as input a representation of a target expression, such as a set of blendweight values, and outputs a code associated with the target expression. The codes associated with the facial identity and the facial expression can be concatenated and input into the decoder, which outputs a representation of a face having the facial identity and expression. The representation of the face can include vertex displacements for deforming the reference mesh.
Secure biometric-based smart card activation method and system
A method and system of performing an authentication of a person in order to activate a smart card for access to a secured resource is disclosed. The system and method are configured to collect image data and compare the image data to facial model data stored on the smart card. The system detects whether there is a match between the image data and any facial signatures previously collected and stored in the smart card. If there is a match, the system verifies an identity of the person and can be configured to automatically activate the smart card for a limited period of time.
USAGE CONTROL OF PERSONAL DATA
Examples of a system for usage control of a personal data are described. The system may obtain an input image including a first face of a person. Further, the system may compute a usage control matrix based on the input image, at least one usage control function, and a predefined criteria. The pre-defined criteria may be associated with at least one of: a data usage policy, a face matching probability related to matching of the face present in the input image, and a face recognition probability related to a recognition of an identity of the person. Furthermore, by using the input image and the usage control matrix, the system may transform the input image to a usage-controlled image. Furthermore, the system may verify a matching of the face present in the input image with a second face present in the usage-controlled image. Furthermore, the system may recognize an identity of the person in the input image and provide a feedback indicative of a failure to verify the identity of the person from the usage-controlled image.
Dual-purpose user-interface control for data submission and capturing feedback expressions
A feedback button is configured to receive a feedback expression characterizing a user experience and submit information in a user interface with a single action. When the user hovers an input cursor near the feedback button, icons/text may be displayed that indicate different types of feedback expressions that may be submitted. As the user moves the cursor back and forth over the button, the icons for the different feedback expressions may be emphasized indicating locations where the button may be clicked to submit specific feedback. When the user is satisfied with the displayed feedback expression, the user may click the feedback button at the current location to submit the feedback expression and perform the final submit action for other data in the user interface.
CONTENT DISPLAY DEVICE AND CONTENT DISPLAY METHOD
A content display method includes: obtaining target information; determining a target tag according to a first database at a current moment and the target information; obtaining top M pieces of content in the target tag; and displaying the content. The target information includes vehicle state information at the current moment and first information used to characterize a facial expression of a driver in a vehicle at the current moment; and the first database includes a plurality of pieces of historical information corresponding to the driver in a historical period.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ARTIFICIAL NEURAL-NETWORK BASED ANIMATION WITH THREE-DIMENSIONAL RENDERING
A system and method of animating an image of an object by extracting a plurality of three dimensional (3D) features from a first image, depicting a puppet object, and from the second image of a driver object, obtaining, a value of a first 3D identity-invariant feature of the puppet object, and a value of a second 3D identity-invariant feature, from the second image, calculating and applying, a mixing function, on the plurality of 3D features, generating a rendered image, based on the plurality of 3D features, the first 3D identity-invariant feature and the second 3D identity-invariant feature, and generating an output image based on the rendered image, the plurality of 3D features, the first image and the second image, wherein the output image depicting a target object comprising at least one 3D identity-invariant feature of the driver object.
THERAPEUTIC SMILE DETECTION SYSTEMS
Systems for detecting when a person exhibits a smile with therapeutic benefits including a facial expression detection device and a system processor. The facial expression detection device is configured to acquire facial expression data. The system processor is in data communication with the facial expression detection device and is configured to execute stored computer executable system instructions. The computer executable system instructions include the steps of receiving facial expression parameter data establishing target facial expression criteria, receiving current facial expression data from the facial expression detection device, comparing the current facial expression data to the target facial expression criteria of the facial expression parameter data, and identifying whether the current facial expression data satisfies the target facial expression criteria. The target facial expression criteria define a smile with therapeutic benefits.
