Method and a device for recognizing an individual by biometric signature
A method of recognizing individuals by means of at least one processor executing a recognition algorithm comprising the steps of: detecting biometric characteristics of a finger of a candidate for recognition while writing a signature by pressing the finger against a signature surface; encoding both the written signature and also the biometric characteristics in order to form signature data and biometric data of the candidate; and using the algorithm to compare the signature data and the biometric data of the candidate with signature data and fingerprint biometric data belonging to at least one individual and stored on a data medium.
SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE AND METHOD OF AUTHENTICATING A USER
A non-transitory computer-readable medium encoded with a computer-readable program which, when executed by a first processor, will cause a computer to execute a method of authenticating a user, the method including training a plurality of models. The method additionally includes sending, by a computer, an acoustic signal. Further, the method includes receiving, by the computer, a reflected acoustic signal, wherein the reflected acoustic signal comprises information about a signature. Moreover, the method includes receiving, by the computer, motion data about the information about the signature. The method additionally includes comparing the information about the signature to a model to generate a score. Additionally, the method includes deciding, based on the score, if the information about the signature is within a predetermined tolerance level.
Method and system for replaying a voice message and displaying a signed digital photograph contemporaneously
Systems and methods for generating authentic digital memorabilia are described. A signor may be provided a digital photograph. The signor's signature, written message, or voice message may be received. Biometric authentication or verification may be performed on the signor's handwriting or voice sample through comparison with stored samples. If the verification signifies a high likelihood signor's handwriting or voice sample is authentic, creation of digital memorabilia is performed by embedding signor's signature or written message in a digital photograph and linking the signor's voice message with the photograph. The digital memorabilia is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and distributed to a customer or displayed on a website.
METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND ARTICLES OF MANUFACTURE FOR FINGERPRINTING SIGNATURES AND ENHANCED SIGNATURE CAPTURING FOR CHARGE CARD TRANSACTIONS ON MOBILE COMMUNICATION DEVICES
A method and a system for fingerprinting signatures and enhanced signature capturing for charge card transactions on mobile communication devices identify and transform a signature into a normalized representation such as a bytestream including coordinate data and combine the normalized representation with some transaction information into combined data. The combined data is further transformed into fixed length data stored for further analyses or uses. Upon the receipt of a dispute, the stored representation(s) of the signature and some of the stored transaction information of the transaction in dispute may be transformed into a first fixed length data. The first fixed length data may be further compared with the stored fixed length data obtained at the time of the transaction to resolve the dispute. The representations of signatures of multiple transactions may be used to determine whether these multiple transactions belong to the same category or to different categories.
DYNAMIC HANDWRITING VERIFICATION, HANDWRITING-BASED USER AUTHENTICATION, HANDWRITING DATA GENERATION, AND HANDWRITING DATA PRESERVATION
Handwriting verification methods and related computer systems, and handwriting-based user authentication methods and related computer systems are disclosed. A handwriting verification method comprises obtaining a handwriting test sample containing a plurality of available parameters, extracting geometric parameters, deriving geometric features comprising an x-position value and a y-position value for each of a plurality of feature points in the test sample, performing feature matching between geometric features of the test sample and a reference sample, determining a handwriting verification result based at least in part on the feature matching, and outputting the handwriting verification result. Techniques and tools for generating and preserving electronic handwriting data also are disclosed. Raw handwriting data is converted to a streamed format that preserves the original content of the raw handwriting data. Techniques and tools for inserting electronic handwriting data into a digital image also are disclosed.
Segment block-based handwritten signature authentication system and method
Provided is a segment-block-based handwritten signature authentication system and a method thereof, and more particularly, to a handwritten signature authentication system and a method thereof that enrolls a handwritten signature including handwritten signature characteristics information based on segment blocks disjointed by a user, acquires segment-block-based handwritten signature characteristics information from the handwritten signature upon request for handwritten signature authentication, and performs handwritten signature authentication by comparing the pre-enrolled handwritten signature characteristics information based on segments and the acquired handwritten signature characteristics information.
Method and system for replaying a voice message and displaying a signed digital photograph contemporaneously
Disclosed are methods and systems for generating digital memorabilia including: providing a digital memorabilia signor with a digital photograph, a digital sports jersey, or a combination thereof; receiving at least one of an electronic signature or an electronic written message from the digital memorabilia signor to be embedded in the digital photograph, the digital sports jersey, or the combination thereof; embedding the at least one of an electronic signature or an electronic written message from the digital memorabilia signor into the digital photograph, the digital sports jersey, or a combination thereof to form the generated digital memorabilia; sending the generated digital memorabilia including the electronic signature and the electronic written message to a verification service to verify authenticity of the electronic signature and electronic written message in the generated digital memorabilia; and delivering the generated memorabilia to a digital receiver.
Segment-based handwritten signature authentication system and method
Provided is a segment-based handwritten signature authentication system and method and, more specifically, to a segment-based handwritten signature authentication system and method, in which handwritten signature authentication based on segments is performed by using handwritten signature characteristics information based on segments disjointed by a user's signing behavior.
