Lift assist device for a mobility apparatus
A lift assist device preferably includes a pair of lift units and a battery. Each lift unit preferably includes a linear actuator, a lift projection, a top bracket and a bottom bracket. A screw sled extends from one side of the linear actuator. An end of a lift projection is secured to the screw sled. One end of the top bracket is attached to a top of the linear actuator. One end of a bottom bracket is attached to a bottom of the linear actuator. The top and bottom brackets will be different depending on whether they are attached to rollators, wheelchairs, motorized wheelchairs and motorized scooters. The lift assist device may be used to help lift a user from a chair adjacent the rollator, wheelchair, motorized wheelchair or motorized scooter, or when the user is seated in rollator, wheelchair, motorized wheelchair or motorized scooter.
IMPROVED MOBILE LIFTING SYSTEM FOR DISABLED PERSON
A mobile lifting system comprising: a base including a plurality of spaced apart legs extending substantially radially relative to a post extending from the base wherein one or more legs of the base are movable between an expanded stabilizing condition and a retracted condition, the post movably supporting a head configured for rotation about the post, the head having a lifting arrangement attached thereto, the lifting arrangement being arranged for effecting upward and downward movement of a body support arrangement to raise and lower a disabled person during use, the body support arrangement being movable between a supporting position and an inoperative position, the body support arrangement being connected to the base through an electro-mechanical linkage combination which moves the base into the stabilizing condition when the body support arrangement is in the supporting position and moves the base into the retracted condition when the body support arrangement is in the inoperative position; the head being rotatable about the post for rotational movement of the body support arrangement to transfer a person between two seating positions which are angularly displaced and in proximity of the post; wherein end portions of the plurality of legs of the base are arranged substantially equally spaced apart on a diameter about the post when the base is in the stabilizing condition and wherein a first plurality of movable legs are movably attached to a centrally located base housing and a second plurality of fixed legs are fixedly attached to the base housing and wherein each of the movable legs is movable independently with respect to any other of the first plurality of movable legs from a first radial position to a second radial position to bring the base into a partially stabilizing condition; and an actuator configured to be operable by the disabled person to effect movement of the body support arrangement to move the body support arrangement upward and downward on the lifting arrangement and to rotate the head about the post, the post being located substantially at a centre of the base to provide stability as the body support arrangement on the head is rotated about the post while supporting the person and wherein the actuator and the electro-mechanical linkage are operably coupled to move the body support arrangement between a supporting position and an inoperative position.
PATIENT LIFT
The present invention relates to a patient lift for assisting a patient onto an examination table that includes: a lift plate positioned between a first handle assembly and a second handle assembly; a plurality of alignment rollers at each corner of the lifting plate, where the alignment rollers are adapted to vertically guide the lifting plate during use; an electrical actuator on each side of the patient lift within each handle assembly, wherein the electrical actuator engages the lifting plate; a power source associated with each electrical actuator; an actuator shaft, where the actuator shaft extends from the electrical actuator and is adapted to engage the lifting plate for the vertical movement of the lifting plate; and a base that provides support for the lifting plate when not in use. A first handle and a second handle extend from the base and are substantially u-shaped with vertical bars.
ASSISTANCE INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
An assistance information management system including a usage record data storage section configured to store usage record data in which usage information on use of an assistance device is recorded in association with usage time information on a date and time when the assistance device is used and assisted person identification information used to identify the assisted person using the assistance device, an assistance record data storage section configured to store assistance record data, an extraction section configured to extract the usage information and the assisted person management information on a specific assisted person, an association section configured to associate the usage information and the assisted person management information with each other based on the usage time information and the management time information, and a presentation section configured to present the associated usage information and the assisted person management information in a visually recognizable manner.
Detection device and assistant robot
A detection device which detects a state of a moving member such as an origin position of the moving member in a short time, is provided with a dog which includes the multiple slits, in which at least one of a separation distance between adjacent slits and a width of the slits themselves is formed in multiple kinds, a sensor which detects the presence or absence of the slits, a count position acquisition section which acquires a count start position and a count end position corresponding to the separation distance between the adjacent slits or the width of the slits themselves based on detection results of the sensor, and a state detection section which acquires a count value increase or decrease number from the count start position to the count end position and detects a state of the moving member based on the acquired count value increase or decrease number.
Seating-type gait rehabilitation robot improved in entry characteristics
Proposed is a seating-type gait rehabilitation robot improved in entry characteristics, and more particularly to a seating-type gait rehabilitation robot improved in entry characteristics, of which a structure is concise and simple, and in which a footrest on which a trainee can put his/her foot has the minimum height to allow the trainee to easily enter and readily use the robot without any separate entry means for entry of the trainee and is placed at an entry side for the trainee to raise a gait training effect and reduce a collision risk.
ASSISTANCE SYSTEM
An assistance system includes a storage section configured to store usage record data in which usage information as to a use of an assistance device configured to assist an operation of a care receiver is recorded in association with time information as to a date and time when the assistance device is used and user identification information used to identify a user using the assistance device, an extracting section configured to extract the usage information and the time information as to a specific user based on the user identification information included in the usage record data, and a display section configured to display a time series change in the usage information as to the specific user in a graspable manner.
NURSING-CARE DEVICE
Provided is a nursing-care device capable of easily moving a care-requiring person from the nursing-care device to medical/nursing-care equipment arranged at the side of a bed. One embodiment of the present invention includes a bed body having a floor portion at an upper surface, one and the other support bases supporting both ends of the bed body, support rods extending upward of the floor portion, and a lifting/lowering unit configured to lift/lower the bed body and the support rods. A lifting member is attached to the support rods. The support rods are lowered in a case where the bed body is lifted by the lifting/lowering unit, and are lifted in a case where the bed body is lowered.
