VEHICLE DOOR CONTROL DEVICE

A vehicle door control device controls opening/closing of door members provided in entrances of a vehicle. The vehicle door control device includes a selective instruction portion that is provided on a vehicle exterior side of each of the door members and that is configured to selectively issue a closing instruction to close the door members and a closing and locking instruction to close and lock the door members.

ELECTRONIC LOCK MECHANISM

An interchangeable electronic lock mechanism provides selective access to a motor controlled latching system including a motorized pin to lock and unlock a knob assembly. The lock mechanism may be used to replace key operated locking cores, on the exterior of a storage unit, with a plug and optional adapter inserted into a remaining shell housing, and a driver to control access to a storage unit. Manual rotation of the knob activates the drive assembly to control access to the storage unit. An optional break away security feature in the knob inhibits unauthorized unlatching of the lock. When the lock is unlatched, the knob rotates the drive assembly including the plug and adapter within the shell housing, and in turn, activates the driver to operate the lock assembly in the storage unit. An optional modular chassis assembly includes a removable array of components for testing, maintenance and repair.

Systems and methods of security enhancement in a security panel are provided. Some systems can include a security system and a keyfob. The security system can identify the keyfob, receive user input identifying a valid user pass code, and transmit the valid user pass code to the keyfob. The keyfob can save the received valid user pass code, receive user input identifying a first user input mechanism, receive user input identifying a sequence of user input mechanisms, determine whether the received sequence of user input mechanisms corresponds to the saved valid user pass code, and responsive to a valid correspondence, transmit a signal to the security system with instructions to execute an action associated with the first user input mechanism.

INTEGRATED DOORLOCK RECHARGEABLE ENERGY STORAGE DEVICE AND METHOD FOR RECHARGING THEREOF

A door lock may include an exterior door lock plate assembly configured to be secured to a door. The door lock may include electronics configured to execute at least one function to support the door lock. A rechargeable energy storage element may be in electrical communication with the electronics, and be configured to store and supply electrical power to the electronics. An electrical conductor interface element may be in electrical communication with the rechargeable energy storage element. An electrical conductor may be electrically connected between the rechargeable energy storage element and the electronics. A strike plate and/or electrical connector thereat may provide electrical power to the electrical conductor interface element of the door lock using electrical conduction or induction such that power from the strike plate and/or electrical connector is supplied the rechargeable energy storage element when the door is in a closed state.
