KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM AND VEHICLE-MOUNTED DEVICE
A vehicle-mounted device includes a control unit that generates a request signal, a transmission unit that sequentially transmits a request signal generated by the control unit from a plurality of respective transmission antennas, a reception unit that receives a response signal to the request signal, and a storage unit that stores a history of information included in a response signal received by the reception unit, and, in a case where the response signal is newly received by the reception unit, the control unit determines whether or not a vehicle is caused to perform a predetermined operation on the basis of the information included in the response signal and the history of the information included in the response signal stored in the storage unit.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR EXCHANGING DATA BETWEEN USERS OF A VEHICLE
This disclosure relates to a method and system for exchanging data between users of a vehicle, including a main user equipped with a first personal electronic device and a secondary user equipped with a second personal electronic device. The method includes a preparatory phase and a transmission phase, which comprise the following steps: the application installed on the first personal electronic device sends data to a remote server including the second email address of the secondary user and instructions for the transfer of information regarding the vehicle; the remote server sends data to an information cloud including the mobile identifier assigned to the application installed on the second device and information regarding the vehicle, and the cloud sends information regarding the vehicle to the application installed on the second personal electronic device.
ELECTRONIC DOOR LOCK SYSTEM
An electronic door lock system is provided. It comprises a portable electronic device and an electronic door lock device. The portable electronic device comprises a first Bluetooth communication module. The electronic door lock device comprises a second Bluetooth communication module communicated to the portable electronic device via a Bluetooth wireless connection. When the portable electronic device is Bluetooth paired to the electronic door lock device, an authorization code is exchanged between the first Bluetooth communication module and the second Bluetooth communication module. When the portable electronic device is near to the electronic door lock device, the authorization code is matched between the portable electronic device and the electronic door lock device. After the match is confirmed, the electronic door lock device will be unlocked. Compared to the prior art, the present invention offers users more convenient using experience.
Secure smartphone-operated locking device
A battery-powered locking device, such as a trigger-lock which is configured to be disposed on a gun with a trigger for firing, includes a data receiver, a data memory and a logic device for determining whether data received by the receiver is the same, or substantially the same, as data stored in the memory. If a data match is indicated, the logic device causes an electromagnetic device to move a trigger-locking member to an unlocked position, permitting the gun to be fired. A separate electronic gun key is provided to transmit gun unlock data to the data receiver of the trigger-locking device. This gun unlock data may be a password, a long pseudo-random number or biologic data identifying the gun owner or some other person who is licensed or otherwise authorized to fire the gun.
UTILIZING A SHORT-RANGE WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVICE TO PROVIDE KEYLESS ACCESS TO A SAFE DEPOSIT BOX
A device receives, from a short-range wireless communication device associated with a safe deposit box, first data identifying a first transaction card, and identifies a bank employee associated with the first data. The device determines whether the bank employee is authorized to access the safe deposit box, and starts a timer when the bank employee is authorized to access the safe deposit box. The device receives, from the short-range wireless communication device, second data identifying a second transaction card, and determines whether the second data is received prior to an expiration of the timer. The device identifies a customer associated with the second data when the second data is received prior to the expiration of the timer, and determines whether the customer is authorized to access the safe deposit box. The device causes the safe deposit box to be unlocked when the customer is authorized.
LOCATION-AWARE BEACON SCANNING AND AUTHENTICATION FOR SECURE CONTROL OF IOT APPLICATIONS
Systems and methods for location-aware scanning of an IoT beacon by a mobile device, and the authentication of the mobile device, are disclosed herein. The system detects when the mobile device is within a geofenced region associated with the IoT beacon and enables the scanning by the mobile device for signals from the beacon. Using the beacon signals received by the mobile device, the system detects when the mobile device and IoT beacon are sufficiently near one another. Once the mobile device and IoT beacon are sufficiently near each other, the system authenticates control of the mobile device over the IoT beacon by verifying an authentication key transmitted to a server.
Vehicle key programming system and method
A vehicle key programming system and method for chip reading and writing, key and remote programming and remote frequency testing. The system tracks programming usage when not connected to system servers and reports such usage upon connection. Immobilizer algorithms are chosen to program and such algorithms are optimized with each attempted use.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MONITORING ACCESS TO A RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE
Disclosed is a monitoring system, having: a keybox configured to store a key; a monitoring device, wherein via a monitoring device controller, the monitoring device is configured to: detect a first alert condition indicative of the keybox being outside a communication range of shortwave radio; and transmit a first alert to a remote implement that is indicative of an occurrence of the first alert condition.
INFRASTRUCTURE CONTROLLER FOR AN INFRASTRUCTURE AND A KEY CONTROLLER FOR A KEY
An infrastructure-controller for an infrastructure. The infrastructure-controller configured to: send a ranging-scheduling-signal to a key, wherein the ranging-scheduling-signal comprises timing-information for a subsequent ranging operation; and activate one or more ranging nodes associated with the infrastructure, for receiving a key-ranging-signal from the key, at an infrastructure-node-start-ranging-time based on the timing-information. The ranging-scheduling-signal has a frequency in a first RF frequency range. The key-ranging-signal has a frequency in a second RF frequency range.
RELAY ATTACK PREVENTION
Passive entry systems, such as passive entry-passive start vehicle systems, using short-range wireless communication signals to determine a distance between nomadic devices and unlockable devices based on a round trip time of flight (TOF) measurement.
