Document sharing with annotations
A document management system manages documents. The documents are managed such that the documents may be shared with multiple users during an online sharing session. During the online sharing session of a document, the document may be annotated. The appearance and location of the annotation is consistent across the difference devices of the users even though the devices are of different device types.
DOOR HANDLE DEVICE
A door handle device provided on a door handle includes: a sensor electrode configured to detect locking and unlocking operations for locking and unlocking a lock of a door according to proximity of a user; a sensor IC configured to control the detection by the sensor electrode; an antenna configured to receive a radio wave propagated from a user terminal and containing an authentication key, and to transmit the radio wave to be propagated toward a periphery; a voltage induction coil configured to generate an induced electromotive force according to the radio wave; a detection unit configured to detect the induced electromotive force generated in the voltage induction coil; and an antenna driving determination unit configured to determine whether the radio wave has been transmitted to and received from the terminal via the antenna based on the induced electromotive force.
LOCK CONTROL APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME
A lock control apparatus for a vehicle includes anchors to receive a signal transmitted from a terminal; a communication module to communicate using controller area network (CAN) communication; a detector installed on a door to input a detection signal; and a processor to receive the signal transmitted from the terminal from at least one of the anchors through the communication module, calculate a position of the terminal based on the signal transmitted from the terminal, determine whether to unlock the door in response to the position of the terminal and the detection signal, and control an engine to start. The processor controls the anchors to enter a sleep mode in response to waiting times of the anchors and resets the anchors to release the sleep mode and controls the anchors to enter a waiting mode in response to the number of anchors transmitting the signal from the terminal.
DOOR ACCESS CONTROL
The present application concerns access control for controlling unlocking of a door (102) at the presentation of credentials (108) at the door. A credentials relay unit (112) and a lock controller (114) are mounted in the vicinity of the door. The credentials relay unit transmits received credentials to a pre-configured, first network address, and in addition transmits a wake-up signal (122) to the lock controller, which upon receipt of the wake-up signal will transmit a request (126) for instructions to a pre-configured, second network address. In response to the request, the lock controller receives unlocking or no-action instructions (128a, 128b), and in case unlocking instructions are received, the lock controller transmits an unlocking signal (132).

INTELLIGENT AUTOMOTIVE COMPONENT
An intelligent automotive component such as an engine starter. The intelligent automotive component having an power-link apparatus disposed within an housing comprising a circuitry that furthers allocates and restricts power supply to one or more components of the intelligent automotive component. The intelligent automotive component comprises an control apparatus such as an key fob that allows wireless communication between the intelligent automotive component and key fob.
WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A vehicle (20) transmits an LF command (Wa), an electronic key (30) transmits, to the vehicle (20), an RF command responsive to the LF command (Wa), the vehicle (20) transmits, to the electronic key (30), an LF command (Wb) having a longer packet length than the LF command (Wa), and the electronic key (30) transmits, to the vehicle (20), an RF command responsive to the LF command (Wb) on the basis of the electric field strength of an LF-RSSI burst of a part of the LF command (Wb), thus turning on an interior light (501).
METHODS, DEVICES AND ELECTRONIC KEYS FOR ACCESS-RESTRICTED ENVIRONMENTS
A method includes determining, by a first radio transceiver of an access-restricted environment, of first direction information of a first radio signal transmitted between the first radio transceiver and a wireless device. The method further includes determining, by a second radio transceiver of the access-restricted environment, of second direction information of a second radio signal transmitted between the second radio transceiver and the wireless device. The method further includes receiving, by the access-restricted environment, of angle information determined by an electronic key associated with the access-restricted environment. The method further includes determining, based on the first direction information, the second direction information and the angle information, whether the wireless device is a relay device or the electronic key. The method can be based, for example, on a Bluetooth technology.
Lock systems and methods
Lock systems are disclosed. The lock system may include a lock unit and a separate base station. The lock unit may include one or more components maintained in a powered-off and/or low-power standby state when not in use. The lock unit may include a sound receiver. The lock unit may activate power to one or more components unit after detecting a predetermined activation sound transmitted by a sound transmitter on the base station. The lock unit and base station may include wireless communicators to communicate signals and/or information between the lock unit and base station after the lock unit is powered on. To conserve power, a lock unit may power down after a predetermined action has been completed, communication of a power down signal, and/or after a predetermined time period has elapsed.
