Programs, systems, and methods for displaying data communicated to the wearable device by short-range communication and displayable by a display on the wearable device. In some embodiments, the data may be indicative of identification, authentication, or promotion. A communication device may transmit the data to the wearable device via short-range wireless communication. The wearable device may receive the communication and display the information on the display of the wearable device.

Apparatus and method to visually communicate with a vehicle

A visual communication apparatus affixed to a vehicle. The visual communication apparatus includes a smart key system that detects a key fob of a user within a keyless detection zone, a projector projecting visual indications on a projecting zone lying on a ground surface of the vehicle, a sensor optically capturing gestures of the user of the vehicle, and an electrical control unit capable of actuated key elements of the vehicle. The visual indications include passive visual indications requiring no activation from the user and active visual indications requiring activations from the user. The activations are performed by gestures of the user on the active visual indications.

Random seed entry number to eliminate key sequence capture

A vehicle entry system includes a lock mechanism, an interface, and a control. The control receives a plurality of code digits by presenting a displayed number on the interface that is initially a random number and at least one of changing or receiving an entry of the displayed number based on a signal from the input. When the plurality of code digits corresponds to a stored entry code, the control causes the lock mechanism to unlock.

The present invention provides a system and method for gaining access through a secured gateway to a health club, gym, spa, hotel room, or the like. The method includes generating an identification code, such as a bar code or QR code, and displaying the code on the display screen of a handheld computing device. The identity of the service provider could be determined by using GPS to get the location of the premises. A scanner installed near the entrance of the premises scans the identification code and allows access. A hand held computing device could be a smart phone, and the identification code could be generated by entering the membership number, which is then processed by the smart phone application to convert the number into an identification code.
