PORTABLE AND SINGLE-USE DEVICE FOR ACCESSING AN AREA WITH RESTRICTED ACCESS, ASSOCIATED ACCESS KEY GENERATION SYSTEM AND ASSOCIATED ACCESS CONTROL METHOD
The invention relates to a device for accessing an area with restricted access or an area to which access is controlled, comprising a support, a sensor and access control stage, the support comprising a portion to be discarded and a portion to be retained, the sensor being borne by the portion to be discarded and being configured to measure at least one parameter of a subject's health, and to deliver a detection signal representative of the measurement of each health parameter, the access control stage being borne by the portion to be retained and being configured to store access information dependent on the detection signal delivered by the sensor, the portion to be retained being able to be mechanically separated from the portion to be discarded so as to form an access key allowing, depending on the access information, access or otherwise to the area with restricted access or to the area to which access is controlled.
CONNECTED CAR AS A PAYMENT DEVICE
Methods, systems, apparatus, and non-transitory computer readable media are described for using a vehicle as a payment device. Various aspects may include receiving a selection of a stored financial card or financial account at a vehicle head unit. The selected financial card or financial account may be transmitted to a point-of-sale (POS) terminal for making a payment by transmitting a tokenized card number to the POS terminal. The tokenized card number may be transmitted over a very short-range communication link to ensure that the transmission is secure. For example, electronic circuitry may be attached to the exterior of the vehicle, where the electronic circuitry may be within a threshold distance (e.g. one inch, three inches, six inches, one foot, three feet, etc.) of the POS terminal. The tokenized card number may be transmitted from the vehicle head unit to the electronic circuitry and then to the POS terminal.
Anonymized biometric data integration
Biometric features are derived from security data associated with a subject. The security data is obtained from a security device. A biometric value is calculated from the biometric features. The biometric value is anonymized to an identifier associated with the subject. The identifier is integrated with event data associated with a security system. In an embodiment, the security device is a Personal Identification Number (PIN) pad integrated into a transaction terminal, the security data is fingerprint data, which is read from a finger of the subject placed on a fingerprint reader integrated into the PIN pad, and the biometric value is a PIN calculated from fingerprint data during a transaction at the transaction terminal. In an embodiment, the security device is a security camera, the security data is a secure video stream, and the biometric features are facial features of the subject in the secure video stream.

4D BARCODE
A mobile device including a communications interface, a memory, a display screen, and a processing unit. The processing unit is configured to retrieve a first key of an asymmetric key pair. A second key of the asymmetric key pair is stored on an access control device. The processing unit is configured to generate a plurality of barcodes. Each of the barcodes includes data that is encrypted using the first key and the current date and time. At least some of the barcodes are distinct from one another. At least one of the barcodes includes access information. The processing unit is configured to sequentially display the barcodes such that only a single one of the barcodes is displayed on the display screen of the mobile device at a single time. The barcodes are read and decrypted by the access control device using the second key and the current date and time.
SELF-CONTAINED FINGERPRINT IDENTIFICATION DEVICE
A passive RFID device may include a fingerprint authentication engine having a processing unit and a fingerprint scanner. The fingerprint authentication engine is capable of performing both an enrolment process and a matching process on a fingerprint of a finger presented to the fingerprint scanner.
MANAGEMENT APPARATUS, MANAGEMENT METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM STORING MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
A method includes obtaining, from a first device, first device identification information for identifying the first device; storing, in a memory, operation instruction information including second device identification information for identifying a second device to be inspected and operation record information including a result of inspection of the second device, the operation record information being created at a time of inspection of the second device; and making the operation record information stored in the memory editable in a case where the obtained first device identification information and the second device identification information included in the operation instruction information match each other.
Auditable security system for secure enclosures
An auditable security system for preventing unlawful diversion of goods and/or services is provided. The security system includes a secure enclosure, an access control system that generates audit data, cameras proximal to the access control system, cameras located in the secure enclosure, a video management system that manages the cameras and generates video data, an exterior computing system configured to allow users to interface with the access control system, the video management system and data stored by the systems, and a database configured for storing data stored by the access control system and the video management system. When a user interacts with the access control system, the cameras begin generating audio and video data, which is stored, along with audit data, in the connected database. The audit data and video data is also provided to a third-party system for processing.
