COIN HANDLING APPARATUS
A coin handling apparatus capable of appropriately feeding coins is provided. A coin handling apparatus includes a plurality of storing units each including an inclining disk rotated in an inclining attitude in which the inclining disk inclines by a predetermined angle with respect to a vertical direction and a transport unit that transports coins. The storing units form a plurality of rows along the transport unit, and the rows each include a plurality of the storing units and are each disposed so that surfaces of adjacent inclining disks in the row face each other.
COIN DIVERTER AND COIN HANDLING APPARATUS
There is provided a coin diverter that allows increase in the number of coin diversion directions and reduction in the size of a coin handling apparatus. The coin diverter includes a diverter member that diverts a coin from a transport path and a driver that changes the state of the diverter member to any of a first state in which the diverter member leads the coin toward the downstream side of the transport path, a second state in which the diverter member leads the coin in a first direction in which the coin drops from the transport path, and a third state in which the diverter member leads the coin in a second direction different from the direction toward the downstream side of the transport path and the first direction.
Coin conveying device
A coin conveying device for a coin processing apparatus configured to store an input coin according to denomination, and dispense a coin stored therein in accordance with a payout instruction is provided. The coin conveying device includes: a rail portion configured to form a conveyance path to convey a coin; a conveying portion including holders connected endlessly, each holder being configured to hold one coin, the conveying portion being configured to convey the input coin from below to above by displacing the conveying portion in one direction along the rail portion; and a controller configured to, when the input coin is put in the conveying portion, displace the conveying portion in a reverse direction that is opposite to the one direction for a predetermined time, and displace the conveying portion in the one direction after the predetermined time has elapsed.

Rare coin identifying machine
The rare coin identifying machine is a coin sorting machine with integrated scanner interconnected to a CPU to identify collectible rare coins. The purpose being to automate the rarity identification for both avid coin collectors and novice. This automation will help alleviate human error in rare coin identification and the time needed to access them. The scanner inside the coin sorting machine scans coins one at a time and the CPU crosschecks database to see if a rare coin match occurs. If one does occur, then the coin exists the machine. If one does not occur, then the coin is routed to the proper stack.
