METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONDUCTING AND RECORDING INSURANCE CLAIM TRANSACTIONS USING BLOCKCHAIN
A method and system for conducting and recording insurance claim transactions using blockchain is provided. The method comprises the steps of: receiving a first verification element from a claimant at an authenticated provider device of a provider; verifying an eligibility of said claimant at a financer and an eligibility of said provider at a provider network according to said first verification element and said provider device; receiving a second verification element from said claimant at said provider device, said second verification element being distinct from said first verification element; conducting said insurance claim transaction by triggering a transaction chaincode at said provider device according to said second verification element; recording an entry of said insurance claim transaction on a blockchain ledger of a blockchain system; wherein a hashed value of an irreversible hash of said first verification element and said second verification element is stored in a global ledger of said blockchain system, and said entry of insurance claim transaction is stored in a private ledger of said blockchain system only accessible by said financer and said provider network; wherein a proof of claim of said insurance claim transaction is collected from said provider device at the time said transaction chaincode is triggered.
Payment application initiated generation of payment instruments
In some examples, a system and method for activating a physical payment card are described. The method includes receiving from a mobile device of a user a request for a physical payment card and first state data indicating a state of the mobile device or an application executing on the mobile device at a time of the request. The physical payment card is mailed to the user. The mobile device reads an identifier on a surface of the container via a sensor of the mobile device and sends the identifier data and a second state data from the time of the reading. The identifier data is compared to a user identifier in a customer profile of the user and the second state data is determined to correspond to the first state data. The physical payment card is then automatically activated.
METHOD FOR BACKING UP AND RESTORING DATA OF A SECURE ELEMENT
The present invention notably relates to a method for saving data stored in memory in a non-volatile memory (2) of a secure element (1), the method being characterized by steps for generating a backup image (IS) containing the data stored in memory in the non-volatile memory (2) and for writing the backup image (IS) into the non-volatile memory (2) of the secure element (1).
The present invention also relates to a method for restoring saved data.
Payment card with light-based signature
Systems, methods and apparatus are provided for light-based authentication of a payment card. The payment card may include a randomized mix of materials. The materials may include transparent or translucent materials. A light source may shine light on a surface of the payment card. Light passing through the card may generate a light pattern that is unique to the payment card. The light pattern may be captured and compared to a reference light pattern to authenticate the payment card. In some embodiments, photodetectors may detect light patterns generated through interactions with the card materials.
COLORED COIN HAVING INDIVIDUAL GENE PHENOTYPE APPLIED THERETO
A colored coin having an individual gene phenotype applied thereto. Particularly, a colored coin manufactured and having an individual gene phenotype applied thereto such that an individual can be identified, cannot only be circulated freely as a Bitcoin block or colored coin metadata, but also is useful in various fields, such as gene-based character fabrication and gaming.
Systems and methods for card authorization
Example embodiments of systems, methods, and computer-accessible mediums for transaction authorization are provided. An exemplary system can comprise a card including an input device and a display device in data communication with a server. The server can generate an authorization passcode upon an initiation of a transaction session, and the card can receive an entered passcode through the input device, display the entered passcode on the display device, and transmit the entered passcode to the server for comparison to the authorization passcode. Upon a determination that the entered passcode is a match for the authorization passcode, the server can transmit a match notification indicating the transaction session is valid, and upon a determination that the entered passcode is a mismatch for the authorization passcode, the server can transmit a mismatch notification terminating the transaction session.
BANKNOTE WITH PROCESSOR
The invention relates to a banknote (100) having a processor (124) and a memory (120). An identification number (116) of the banknote (100) is stored in the memory (120) of the security element (102) and identifies an anonymous banknote account managed by a central bank (220) issuing the banknote (100) and individually assigned to the corresponding banknote (100). A banknote-specific cryptographic key (118) is stored in a protected memory area (122) of the memory (120). A payment method executed with the banknote (100) comprises: receiving a payment request for a payment with the banknote (100), generating a payment-specific cryptogram for authorising the payment with the banknote (100), wherein the cryptogram is generated from the identification number (116) of the banknote (100) and a payment-specific code as input values using the banknote-specific cryptographic key (118), sending a payment authorisation comprising the payment-specific cryptogram.
Electronic badge and housing for the same
The present disclosure provides an electronic badge and a housing for the same. The housing includes: a rear case defining a main board cavity, and formed with a display opening in communication with the main board cavity and a profile card receiving slot located outside the main board cavity; and a front case detachably disposed on the rear case to enclose the profile card receiving slot or both the display opening and the profile card receiving slot, a portion of the front case opposite the profile card receiving slot or both the display opening and the profile card receiving slot being made of a transparent material.
