Provided is an item dispensing device that can reduce the height of each device without decreasing the number of items to be stored. The item dispensing device includes: a storage case for storing capsules; an item ejection port provided in a side wall of the storage case; a vertical rotating shaft attached to the storage case; a motor for driving the rotating shaft to rotate; a circular plate provided in a lower part of the storage case and rotated by the rotating shaft, the circular plate being provided with item holders along the circumferential direction, each of the item holders having an opening in the outer circumferential direction and provided to be engageable with a capsule, wherein a part of the outer circumference of the circular plate is opposed to the item ejection port; and a capsule ejection mechanism for energizing the capsule engaged with one of the item holders toward the item ejection port side when the item holder is positioned at the item ejection port.

An apparatus for retaining and dispensing feminine products, the apparatus including a rack configured to hold a feminine product; a pushbutton that, when activated, is configured to move a push rod in a first direction, the push rod having teeth configured to engage a pinion gear as the push rod is moved along the first direction; a push member associated with the pinion gear, the push member being configured to engage the feminine product and thereby cause the product to dispense onto a release tray as the push rod is moved along the first direction; and a plunger associated with the pinion gear, the plunger being configured to contact a timing plate in response to the pinion gear rotating. The plunger is adapted to temporarily affix to the timing plate by a suction force for a period of time sufficient for the pushbutton to reset before a second feminine product can be dispensed.

An apparatus for retaining and dispensing feminine products, the apparatus including a rack configured to hold a feminine product; a pushbutton that, when activated, is configured to move a push rod in a first direction, the push rod having teeth configured to engage a pinion gear as the push rod is moved along the first direction; a push member associated with the pinion gear, the push member being configured to engage the feminine product and thereby cause the product to dispense onto a release tray as the push rod is moved along the first direction; and a plunger associated with the pinion gear, the plunger being configured to contact a timing plate in response to the pinion gear rotating. The plunger is adapted to temporarily affix to the timing plate by a suction force for a period of time sufficient for the pushbutton to reset before a second feminine product can be dispensed.

A food product storage and vending kiosk includes a cold storage unit, an oven unit, and a transportation mechanism. The cold storage unit includes a plurality of food packages, an active shelving system storing the plurality of food packages, and a freezer. Each of the food packages includes a food product in a box. The oven unit includes a base oven deck for receiving the food product and rising to meet and seal with a main body to form a sealed oven cavity for cooking the food product. The transportation mechanism is for moving a food package out of the cold storage unit, onto an elevator platform that lifts the food package to the oven unit, pushing the food product from the box onto the base oven deck for cooking, and pushing the food product off of the base oven deck into the box and out of a delivery chute.

In some embodiments, the systems include the following: a product housing positioned in a vehicle, the product housing including an exposed surface having a product delivery opening; a removable inventory cartridge; a product dispensing mechanism including a product dispensing opening, the product dispensing mechanism being configured for dispensing a product from the removable inventory cartridge in the product housing to the product dispensing opening; a product delivery conduit including a first end and a second end, the first end being joined with the product dispensing opening and the second end defining a product delivery opening, which is formed in the exposed top surface of the product housing and positioned in a passenger compartment of the vehicle; and an lifting mechanism positioned within the product delivery conduit for mechanically lifting the product dispensing opening to the product delivery opening.
