Systems and methods for controlling access to wireless gaming devices and networks are provided. example, access is controlled through one or more levels of security check, such as a hard security check instead of or in addition to a soft security check. In a hard security check, the user employs an apparatus such as a card or other physical token that can be used to access the wireless gaming device. Such an apparatus may communicate information that identifies the user to the device or may simply be used to produce a signal without which the device is locked to users.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR HOSTING AND MANAGING A LIVE GAME
A system and method for hosting and managing a live game are disclosed which includes a live gaming table for live players and a live dealer. In an embodiment an application configures a player's mobile device to receive an invitation from a casino to play the table game based upon the player being, based upon location aware technology, being in or near the casino. Accepting the invention permits the player to reserve a position at the gaming table and displays a machine readable code at the player's mobile device. The player positions at the gaming table include video display and player input devices (VDPIDs) and a code reader to read the displayed code and access the player's electronic account. Using the VDPID the player may convert between electronic funds and physical gaming chips, participate in video bonus event play and back-bet on other players.

In certain embodiments, the present disclosure relates to a method for monitoring individuals within a gaming venue. The method can comprise receiving, by a surveillance system of the gaming venue, input from a plurality of input devices at different locations within the gaming venue and identifying, by the surveillance system of the gaming venue, each of a plurality of individuals within the gaming venue based on the received input from the plurality of input devices. Two related individuals of the plurality of individuals can be identified by the surveillance system of the gaming venue based on a model defining factors for identifying relationships between individuals and an action directed to the identified two related individuals can be initiated by the surveillance system of the gaming venue.

When an unfair gaming currency is delivered to a dealer from a player, the currency is detected as unfair. The inspection system for inspecting the gaming currency, in which an RF tag is built, comprises: a gaming currency tray for housing the gaming currencies of the dealer in a casino game; an RF reader for reading the RF tags of the plural gaming currencies housed in the gaming currency tray; plural photosensors for detecting at least the number of the plural gaming currencies housed in the gaming currency tray at a constant time interval or always in a method other than RFID; and an inspection/alarm part for generating alarms when the number of the gaming currencies whose RF tags are read by the RF reader is not equal to the number of the gaming currencies detected by the plural photosensors.

A method for establishing communication between a portable electronic device and an electronic gaming machine within a gaming environment includes receiving wireless signal data transmitted from the portable electronic device, determining a wireless signal strength relative to the electronic gaming machine based on the wireless signal data, and based on a determination that the wireless signal strength relative to the electronic gaming machine has increased, exceeded a predetermined threshold level, and leveled off for an amount of time exceeding a time threshold after becoming stronger, initiating a wireless communication link between the electronic gaming machine and the portable electronic device.
Target object identification
A target object identification system includes a first camera, a second camera, and a processor. The first camera acquires an image of a first target region. The second camera synchronously acquires an image of a second target region. The second target region includes part or all of the first target region. Resolution of the first camera is higher than that of the second camera, and field of view of the second camera is greater than that of the first camera. The processor identifies first target objects according to the image of the first target region, and second target objects according to the image of the second target region, and determines association relationships between the first target objects in the image of the first target region and the second target object in the synchronously acquired image of the second target region.
Multi-user gaze detection at electronic gaming devices
Gaming devices, systems, and methods are provided. The gaming device includes a display device, an image capture device to capture images of eyes of multiple users of the device, and a processor circuit. A memory includes machine-readable instructions that, when executed by the processor circuit, cause the processor circuit to generate, for each of the images of eyes of the plurality of users, gaze direction data corresponding to gaze directions of the eyes of each of the plurality of users and, based on the gaze direction data of the plurality of users, modify a gaming device function.
