Garment for use with seat restraints and method of use therefor
A garment is configured to facilitate wearing by an occupant of a seat assembly with a plurality of harness strap, such as a wheelchair or child car seat. The garment has an inner surface, an outer surface, and defines a plurality of slots that extend from the inner surface to the outer surface. The slots are sufficiently sized and positioned such that a respective one of the harness straps is insertable through a respective one of the slots when the garment is on the seating assembly.
ADAPTABLE APPAREL
The present invention provides an adaptable apparel for use by people with limited physical capacities and in health care settings. This disclosure provides clothing that may be combinable from set and preformed pieces by the aid of buttons, zippers, or other latching mechanisms such as Velcro brand locking aids.
Utility garment
A utility garment has a front garment portion adapted for positioning at a wearer's chest, a rear garment portion adapted for positioning at a wearer's back, the front portion and rear portion being removably detachable at a plurality of attachment facilities, each attachment facility including a front facility portion connected to the front garment portion and a rear facility portion connected to the rear garment portion, at least a first one of the front facility portion and the rear facility portion comprising first and second bodies, the first body defining a first cable passage and the second body defining a second cable passage, the first cable passage and the second cable passage being registered with each other and adapted to receive a single cable, and the first body and second body being spaced apart from each other to define a latch receptacle space.
Outerwear Garments for Use with Child Safety Seats
In some embodiments, a hood and outerwear garments with single attachment points for children wearing coats in car safety seats are disclosed. In some embodiments, the outerwear garment is comprised of a winter bonnet having an insulated lining and a single attachment point at the upper anterior portion of a coat. In some embodiments, the single anterior attachment prevents the hood from being inadvertently lodged behind a childpotentially limiting the safety seat's ability to secure the child. An object of some embodiments is to prevent a hood from interfering with car safety seat restraint systems.
Elongated Adjustable Pocket Assembly
An elongated length adjustable pocket assembly attaches to a garment surface of a garment to hold items. The pocket has an elongated configuration for retaining long objects. The pocket is defined by a top edge that can be length adjusted along the garment surface through a male fastener that attaches to corresponding female fasteners at incremental attachment points along the longitudinal of the garment surface, so as to increase or decrease the length of the pocket. One or more male fasteners are disposed at the corners of the top edge of the front panel of the pocket. The male fasteners face inwardly so that they can detachably fasten to corresponding upper and lower female fasteners that position at incremental heights on a garment outer surface, so as to enable the top edge of the pocket to fasten at different heights on the garment surface; and thereby length-adjust the pocket.
Surgical Apparel System
A surgical garment configured for attachment to a surgical helmet, wherein the surgical garment defines a barrier between the wearer and the environment. The surgical helmet includes a peripheral device, a chin bar, and a coupling member. The coupling member may be recessed within the chin bar. The surgical garment may comprise an attachment element configured to removably couple with the coupling member of the surgical helmet. The coupling member and attachment member may comprise reciprocal features, such as a protrusion and a recess. The protrusion and/or corresponding recess may comprise a curved or similarly shaped surface configured to resist decoupling of the attachment member and the coupling member when a force is applied to the surgical garment.

SMART SWEATER SUIT
A smart sweater suit made of sweater material, such as cotton, wool, polyester, or any other suitable fabric. It can be rain-proofed or adapted for use in all weather. There are fringed epaulettes on the shoulders removably attached by hook and loop fasteners. There are pockets for an electronic device capable of interactive voice communication and answering questions posed by the wearer, which may be sold in combination with the suit, and for a laptop computer and a cell phone. In a first preferred embodiment, it has a conventional collar, with a button down front. The waistband has belt loops. In a second preferred embodiment, the smart sweater suit is made of the same material, but the top is a pullover with no buttons, and a turtleneck. The ends of the sleeves can be elastic or an elastic and drawstring combination. The suit pants have an elastic waistband and drawstring.
Apparel for individuals with limited mobility
An apparel including an apparel body having an operative top edge and an operative bottom edge is disclosed. At least one waist securing portion is defined adjacent the operative top edge of the apparel body, wherein the waist securing portion includes a resilient band. Securing members are provided on the waist securing portion to allow a user to easily wear or remove the apparel, wherein the securing members includes at least one of a hook and loop straps and a button and button loop set. The apparel further includes at least one pocket provided on an inner surface of the skirt body.
Rapidly Deployable Face Mask
A rapidly deployable protective facemask includes a resilient member that self-expands to a deployed configuration when the mask is removed from its container.
