Personal monitoring apparatus and method
An apparatus, including a housing, display; keyboard; at least one microphone; at least one speaker; at least two cameras; memory or database which stores travel schedule or itinerary information for an individual global positioning device; communication equipment, controller; and transmitter. If the controller detects a deviation of the apparatus from a travel schedule or itinerary or detects an absence of or leaving of the apparatus from an expected location, the controller generates a message and the transmitter transmits the message to a communication device associated with a third party. The controller activates the communication equipment to initiate a telephone call to the communication device or a second communication device, de-activates an on/off switching functionality of the apparatus, and deactivates a telephone calling on/off switching functionality.
BABY MONITOR SYSTEM WITH MULTIPLE AUDIO FEATURE
A monitor system with dual audio or multiple audio feature for simultaneously monitoring one or more target subjects is disclosed. The monitor system includes a plurality of camera devices and a base station. The plurality of camera devices is arranged to capture video data and sound data of the one or more target subjects independently and simultaneously. The base station is configured to receive the video data and the sound data from the plurality of camera devices, and present the video data and the sound data uninterruptedly. The base station comprises a display panel partitioned into a plurality of regions for displaying multiple views simultaneously using a split-screen technique. The base station outputs an audio signal by combining the sound data from the plurality of camera devices into a single audio signal.
Wireless infant health monitor
A system for wirelessly monitoring the health of an infant comprising a sensing module removably disposed within a wearable article. At least a portion of the sensing module can be in contact with an infant's foot. The sensing module can include a processing unit configured to receive and process health readings received by the sensing module. A wireless transmitter can also be in communication with the processing unit. The wireless transmitter can be configured to transmit the processed health readings to a receiving station. The receiving station can indicate an alarm if the processed health readings indicate a health trend that falls outside of a particular threshold.
Arial based parolee tracking and pursuit
A method for controlling an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to track a monitored person is provided. The method includes directing the UAV toward a target location the target location being based on past or present location information provided by a personal monitoring device attached to a monitored person, the location information representing the location of the personal monitoring device; assuming with the UAV a surveillance position relative to the target location; and determining that the monitored device is proximate to the target location by receiving signals from the personal monitoring device and/or observing the monitored person through a camera on the UAV.
CHILD MONITORING DEVICES AND SYSTEMS
A child monitoring device has a plurality of sensors to sense data relating to a child to be monitored, a wireless communications unit and a processing unit. The processing unit is able to receive signals from the sensors, receive data relating to the child input via said wireless communications unit, cause the wireless communications unit to wirelessly communicate with an external database to receive data, process the signals received from said sensors to determine child development conditions, compare determined child development conditions with the data received from external database, and cause said wireless communications unit to transmit messages containing child development information for reception by an external device.
Charge and guardian safety system
A charge and guardian safety system may include a system console having a console housing. At least one article fastening device may be carried by the console housing. The at least one article fastening device may be configured to attach to the corresponding guardian or charge. The system console of at least one of the first wearable article and the second wearable article may be configured to emit at least one alarm if the second wearable article travels farther than a predetermined separation distance from the first wearable article. The at least one article fastening device of at least one of the first wearable article and the second wearable article may be configured to tighten or contract with the at least one alarm.
LOCATION DETECTION AND DANGER ALERT WARNING USING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method including assessing a danger level associated with an object; locating a target person and a caregiver; monitoring movement of an unsupervised target person relative to a boundary around the object; and providing a warning in a caregiver's voice if the person crosses the boundary. A content and volume of the warning, a direction of the warning with respect to a trajectory of movement of the person, and a tone of voice of the warning can be selected according to the danger level and a profile of the person. The method also includes initiating a distraction procedure directed to the person according to the profile; the distraction can include an audio message directing attention of the person to another object. Other embodiments are disclosed.
Baby monitor assembly
A baby monitor assembly includes an emitter unit and a receiver unit, wherein the emitter unit includes means for sound detection, such as a microphone, means for communication with the receiver unit, a generally flat housing, having a peripheral slit, and a source of light. The receiver unit includes means for communication with the emitter unit, and signalizing means. The emitter unit is suitable and configured for placing under a crib, and is capable of detecting sounds and sending information to the receiver unit upon detection of predetermined type of noise. The receiver unit is configured for receiving information from the emitter unit and notifying the parent, such as using light, sound or vibration signals. A slit in the housing allows for emitting a light beam selectively essentially parallel to the floor, so that it neither shines directly nor reflects into the eyes of the baby and the user.
Baby hoop
A programmable electronic, analog or digital intelligent bracelet device consisting of one or more units thought out to aid in the prevention of infant deaths or injuries due to parents forgetting their children while in the car or while conducting other activities. Device may also be used to monitor patients with Alzheimer and other similar conditions.
Baby Monitor System with Noise Filtering and Method Thereof
A baby monitor system with white noise filtering comprises a camera unit and a monitor unit, wherein the camera unit is predefined soothing sounds and play at least one of the predefined soothing sounds for baby; the camera unit records the mixture sound of baby, ambient noises and white noises and transforms the mixture sound to sound features, wherein the white noises at least include the soothing sounds and stationary noise; the recorded sound features are compared to local audio features of the predefined soothing sounds; if there are matching features between the recorded sound features and the local audio features, removing the matching features from the recorded sound features; the stationary noise features are extracted and removed from the recorded sound features; the camera unit outputs the recorded mixture sound without the white noise to the monitor unit.
