Close range monitoring
A wearable device may connect to a wearable device over a short-range wireless connection. The user device may receive sensor data from the wearable device, where the wearable device has sensors. The user device may determine that a safety alert parameter has been met, and in response generate an audible alarm. The device may then determine that the connection between the user device and the wearable device has been disconnected, and in response, generate a second audible alarm.
SMART AVIATION COMMUNICATION HEADSET AND PERIPHERAL COMPONENTS
In one embodiment, an aviation communication headset includes, but is not limited to, at least one microphone; one or more speakers; one or more docks configured to interface with one or more eyepieces; and at least one control unit operable to perform operations including at least: detecting a presence of one or more eyepieces at the one or more docks; and outputting aviation flight information via the one or more docks for display on the one or more eyepieces.
WEARABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR TRACKING LOCATION AND IDENTIFYING CHANGES IN SALIENT INDICATORS OF PATIENT HEALTH
A wearable electronic device, a system and methods of monitoring with a wearable electronic device. The device includes a hybrid wireless communication module with wireless communication sub-modules to selectively acquire location data from both indoor and outdoor sources, as well as a wireless communication sub-module to selectively transmit an LPWAN signal to provide location information based on the acquired data. The device may also include one or more sensors to collect one or more of environmental data, activity data and physiological data. The device may transmit some or all of its acquired data to a larger system, including a cloud-based server to, in addition to providing location-based data, be used as a part of a predictive health care protocol to correlate changes in acquired data to salient indicators of the health of a wearer of the device. In one form, the predictive health care protocol uses a machine learning model.
Video processing for vehicle ride incorporating biometric data
A method includes capturing video data from a camera over a period of time while capturing motion data from a detector and biometric data from another detector over that same period of time. Then, the method additionally includes selecting a subset of the video data captured during the period of time, based on a corresponding subset of the motion data and/or biometric data. The method then proscribes storing this selected subset of video data in memory.
Swimmer Safety Monitor Apparatus
A swimmer safety monitor apparatus for allowing adults to monitor swimming children's safety to prevent drowning includes a transmitter body and a strap coupled to the transmitter body to secure the apparatus on a user's wrist. A transmitter display is coupled to a body front side of the transmitter body. A CPU is coupled within the transmitter body and is in operational communication with the transmitter display. A battery, a biometric sensor, a power button, a panic button, and a transceiver are coupled to the transmitter body and are in operational communication with the CPU to communicate with a personal electronic device to send vitals from the biometric sensor and alerts from the panic button.
System for survival detection in dangerous space
The present invention relates to a system for survival detection in a dangerous space. According to the present invention, the survival and location of a subject located in a dangerous space can be effectively detected from the outside according to ultra-wideband (UWB) radar.
Baby Monitor System Sound and Light Delivery Based on Vitals
A baby monitor system comprises: a memory; and a processor coupled to the memory and configured to: obtain a sleep schedule of a baby; obtain vitals of the baby, wherein the vitals are based on pulse oximetry, Doppler monitoring, or temperature sensing; and cause a first sound or a first light to emit in response to the sleep schedule and the vitals. A method comprises: obtaining a sleep schedule of a baby; obtaining vitals of the baby, wherein the vitals are based on pulse oximetry; and causing a first sound or a first light to emit in response to the sleep schedule and the vitals.
COMMUNICATION DEVICES FOR GUARDS OF CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENTS
The present disclosure provides details of a system and method for a communication device for guards in controlled environments. The communication device is established based on an indoor wireless infrastructure in the controlled environment, receiving wireless positioning signals to calculate and determine the real-time location of a user carrying the device. The indoor wireless positioning can be combined with other available positioning methods to provide highly accurate positioning information of the guard. The communication device detects, monitors, and records activities of the guard during a period of time, and is controlled by the control center. The control center and the communication device respond quickly to different abnormal situations. In addition, the communication device detects contraband electronic devices and monitor surroundings of the guard. Thus, the disclosed system and method for the communication device provides improved communication and monitoring for guards in a controlled environment.
Wireless infant health monitor
A system for wirelessly monitoring the health of an infant comprising a sensing module removably disposed within a wearable article. At least a portion of the sensing module can be in contact with an infant's foot. The sensing module can include a processing unit configured to receive and process health readings received by the sensing module. A wireless transmitter can also be in communication with the processing unit. The wireless transmitter can be configured to transmit the processed health readings to a receiving station. The receiving station can indicate an alarm if the processed health readings indicate a health trend that falls outside of a particular threshold.
Extreme temperature safety device for vehicles
An improved vehicle safety device for activating an alarm when the temperature in the interior of a vehicle reaches an extreme value. The device includes a presence sensor for detecting the presence of a human or an animal in the interior of a vehicle and a temperature sensor for detecting the temperature in the vehicle interior. A controller is coupled to the presence detector, the temperature detector, and the vehicle ignition system for generating a hazardous-condition signal in response to an extreme-temperature condition in the vehicle when a human or an animal is in the vehicle and the vehicle engine is not running. An alarm module is connected to the controller for generating audible, visual, and wireless emergency-response signals when a hazardous condition is detected. The alarm module may also be further configured to create a door-unlocking signal.
