Patient incontinence notification system and incontinence pads
A notification system is provided that provides notification of patient events such as movement and/or incontinence. The notification system provides for a plurality of different pressure sensor pads as well as an incontinence pad to be used in association with a single monitor.
Elderly care and security system
An elderly care and security system comprises one or more networked lighting luminaire installed in a room, the luminaire comprising: one or more sensors configured to: detect a fall; detect smoke; detect glass break; detect presence of another person in the room while the elderly person is lying in bed; and detect presence of a person while an alarm system is active and detect no presence for a period longer than a predetermined time interval; a lighting unit controlled to adaptively illuminate the room; a wireless bi-directional transceiver, loudspeaker and microphone, configured to be activated automatically for communication with the elderly person, a caregiver or relative; a door locking/unlocking unit with connectivity to an electrical door lock, configured to automatically lock/unlock a door of a safe room for the elderly person; and an alarm activating unit, configured to automatically activate/deactivate an alarm.
ALERT SYSTEMS FOR SENIOR LIVING ENGAGEMENT AND CARE SUPPORT PLATFORMS
Provided herein is an engagement and care support platform (“ECSP”) computer system including at least one processor in communication with at least one memory device for facilitating senior user engagement. The processor is programmed to: (i) register a user through an application, (ii) register a caregiver associated with the user through the application, (iii) generate a senior profile based upon user personal and scheduling data, (iv) build a daily interactive user interface that reflects the senior profile, (v) display the daily interactive user interface at a first client device associated with the user, (vi) cause the first client device to initiate a daily interaction prompt to the user, (vii) determine whether any user interaction was received in response to the daily interaction prompt, and (viii) transmit a daily update message to a second client device associated with the caregiver, including an indication of whether any user interaction was received.
BEHAVIOR DEVIATION DETECTION WITH ACTIVITY TIMING PREDICTION
Various embodiments provide methods, apparatus, systems, computing entities, and/or the like, for identifying deviated behavior of an individual indicated by outlying activity counts and outlying activity timings classified by a prediction interval profile generated from historical behavior data. In an embodiment, an example method comprises accessing sensor data describing behavioral activities of an individual during historical time periods and generating a prediction interval profile for the behavioral activities comprising a predicted count interval within a prediction time period for at least some behavioral activities. The method further includes receiving sensor data for the prediction time period and extracting an observed activity count and an observed activity timing for each behavioral activity. The method then includes classifying a particular behavioral activity as a behavioral deviation if the observed activity count does not satisfy the predicted count interval and/or if the observed activity timing does not satisfy the predicted timing interval.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DETECTING OBSTACLES IN AN ENVIRONMENT OF A USER IN REAL-TIME
This disclosure relates to method and system for detecting obstacles in an environment of a user in real-time. The method includes generating a LASER beam towards each of a plurality of regions in the environment of the user; receiving a feedback signal based on reflection of the LASER beam from an obstacle located in at least one of the plurality of regions; transforming the feedback signal from the at least one of the plurality of regions into obstacle information through a Machine Learning (ML) algorithm; activating one or more of a plurality of pressure elements of an obstacle matrix based on the obstacle information of the at least one of the plurality of regions; and generating a predefined pressure through each of the one or more of the plurality of pressure elements of the obstacle matrix based on obstacle information of the at least one of the plurality of regions.
Portable monitoring unit
A portable monitoring unit for personnel working in hazardous environments, including a coupling to which an auxiliary unit can be structurally coupled; a motion sensor; an alert generator which is configured to generate an alert when motion is not detected for a period of time; and a power interface arranged to receive power for the portable monitoring unit from a power interface of the auxiliary unit when the auxiliary unit is structurally coupled to the portable monitoring unit.
INTEGRATED COCKPIT SENSING SYSTEM
In one embodiment, a system includes, but is not limited to, an aviation head-mounted communication device including at least: a speaker, a physiological sensor configured to obtain physiological data, and a wireless communication interface; and a smartphone, a smartwatch, or tablet device wirelessly linked to the wireless communication interface and configured to receive the physiological data and output the physiological data on a display.
PERSONAL MONITORING USING A REMOTE TIMER
Method and apparatus for monitoring the status and location of personnel using a remote timer. In some embodiments, a system is provided having a network accessible device with a controller, a memory and a native sensor. A subject application (app) is installed as native programming by an original manufacturer of the network accessible device and has access to the native sensor. A timer circuit of a remote server initiates a monitored elapsed time interval responsive to execution of the subject app, and sends a notification signal to a monitoring device responsive to a conclusion of the monitored elapsed time interval without having received a disable communication from the network accessible device. The disable communication is generated by a biometric input supplied by a user of the network accessible device via the native sensor, with the biometric input serving as a personal identification (PID) for the user.
Aggregate monitor data in real-time by worker
A worker monitoring system. The system comprises a processor, a display, a data store, a non-transitory memory, and an application stored in the non-transitory memory. The application stores definitions of associations of electronic monitors to workers in the data store, receives information from the electronic monitors via a wireless communication link, based on accessing the data store, analyzes information from a plurality of electronic monitors associated with one of the workers, corroborates information from a first electronic monitor associated with the one or the workers using information from a second electronic monitor associated with the one of the workers, and based on the corroboration of the information from the first electronic monitor, and presents an alarm indication on the display.
PATIENT CARE SYSTEM
A patient support apparatus system and patient support apparatus, such as a bed, cot, stretcher, operating table, recliner, or the like, include a litter frame, a support deck, a sensor configured to detect caregiver activity, a transceiver communicating with a server, and a controller. The controller is configured to send alerts or messages to the server when caregiver assignment errors or caregiver inattention issues are identified. An alert is sent when a caregiver has not attended to a patient within a certain period of time, or when a caregiver has not been assigned to a particular patient or a particular location within a healthcare facility to which a patient has been assigned. The patient support apparatus and system are in communication with other healthcare facility systems and devices that gather and share information and data to alert caregivers in an effort to avoid patient neglect.
