Hanging kit
A hanging kit includes a supporting member having at least one fixing portion and two suspending members respectively located at two opposite sides of the supporting member. The fixing portion has two coupling portions configured for coupling with each other. Each of the two suspending members has at least one suspending part and a connecting part, and the connecting part is configured for respectively connecting the two suspending members to the supporting member.
Portable lifting and transferring techniques
Portable lifting and transferring techniques for assisting in the mobility of disabled persons are disclosed. In one particular embodiment, the techniques may be realized as a portable lifting and transferring apparatus for assisting disabled persons that is compact, lightweight, and portable for use in different locations. Preferably, such an apparatus would provide multiple pivot points for providing multiple degrees of maneuvering freedom when lifting and transferring disabled persons and/or their mobility devices and for providing compatibility with a wide range of vehicles. The techniques may also be realized in other embodiments as disclosed herein.
Track and lift rehabilitation systems and related methods
A system for physical rehabilitation is disclosed. The system may comprise a plurality of motors configured to be coupled to a ceiling; a plurality of cable portions, wherein each cable portion is connected at a first end to a motor and connected at a second end to a connector element; and a controller in operative communication with the plurality of motors to move the connector element in relation to a staircase.
Sling bar devices for person lifting systems and methods for operating sling bar devices
A sling bar device includes a central hub and a plurality of sling bar arms extending outwardly from the central hub. At least one of the plurality of sling bar arms is rotatable about the central hub to move a connection location from one angular position to another angular position relative to the central hub.
SLING BARS AND LIFT ASSEMBLIES INCLUDING SLING BARS
A sling bar includes a frame defining a central hub, a first hook extending from the central hub, and a second hook extending from the central hub. The central hub includes a wall defining an internal hollow region and an external hub surface, the internal hollow region shaped and sized to receive a ferromagnetic insert therein, and one or more niches formed within the wall and recessed into the wall from the external hub surface, the one or more niches arranged radially around the internal hollow region and sized and shaped to receive a hand control device.
Lockable wheels and subject support lifts including a lockable wheel
A subject support lift includes a mast portion, a base portion, and a lockable wheel assembly coupled to the base portion. The lockable wheel assembly includes an axle member, a lockable wheel coupled to the axle member, and a pivot member pivotally coupled to the lockable wheel and defining an axis extending in a vertical direction, where the lockable wheel is rotatable about the axis defined by the pivot member. A locking member is coupled to one of the pivot member or the lockable wheel, the locking member being repositionable between a locked position, in which the locking member engages the other of the pivot member or the lockable wheel, and an unlocked position, in which the locking member is spaced apart from the other of the pivot member or the lockable wheel.
SLING BARS, METHODS FOR ATTACHING A SUBJECT SLING TO SLING BARS, AND LIFT SYSTEMS USING SLING BARS
Sling bars, lift systems, and methods of attaching a subject sling to a sling bar are disclosed. A sling bar includes a bar extending in a longitudinal direction, a protrusion extending from an upper part of the bar, a sling attachment portion extending to define a receiving aperture, a terminus of the sling attachment portion facing the protrusion, defining an opening into the receiving aperture, the protrusion defining an undercut portion of the receiving aperture, a retention latch pivotally coupled to the protrusion and defining an engagement face that selectively interfaces with a stop surface at the terminus in a closed position to cover the opening, the retention latch being constrained to pivot to an open position whereby the retention latch ceases to interface with the stop surface at the terminus, and a biasing mechanism coupled to the retention latch to force the retention latch toward the closed position.
Ceiling lift tilt management system
A ceiling lift tilt management system includes first and second motor units, which are attachable to a rail system of a medical care facility. Each motor unit includes a flexible strap, which can be coiled or uncoiled within the motor unit to raise or lower a spreader bar attached thereto. Coiling or uncoiling of the straps can cause raising or lowering of a sling attached to the spreader bars. The system also allows for tilting of the spreader bars by coiling or uncoiling a leading motor unit strap. The system includes a control system that measures the relative lengths of the two straps in order to ensure that relative tilt between the spreader bars does not exceed a threshold. Once a threshold tilt for height difference is reached, further user requests for additional tilting are prohibited. Patient comfort and safety are therefore ensured.
Systems for monitoring person lifting devices using load tension pins
A multi-link device includes a load tension pin including a sensor configured to measure tension applied to the load tension pin, network interface hardware, one or more processors, and one or more memory modules storing computer readable and executable instructions which, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the multi-link device to: determine whether the tension measured by the load tension pin exceeds a threshold value; and transmit, by the network interface hardware, load event data to a receiver in response to determination that the tension exceeds the threshold value.
MOBILE LIFT APPARATUS FOR FACILITATING CARDIOVASCULAR REHABILITATION AND TRAINING OF ELDERLY, OBESE AND INJURED PERSONS
An apparatus for facilitating cardiovascular rehabilitation and training has an overhead rigging attachable to a harness worn by a user, wherein the overhead rigging is in communication with an upper translatable member slidably joined atop a lower translatable member slidably joined to an upper support of a frame assembly. Columns of the frame assembly retain a plurality of spaced weights to which said overhead rigging is attached via cables. In this arrangement, a user may wear the harness and, via the overhead rigging and weights, have his or her weight against the ground dramatically reduced while being permitted to move about an area substantially defined by the frame assembly. As configured, the upper and lower translatable members move orthogonally to one another providing a tremendous range of motion to the user within the area substantially defined by the frame assembly.
