A system for generating computer programs includes physical carriers of information that have a rectangular contrasting marker associated with an element of the computer program and a description text and/or a graphical symbol. The carriers may form the computer program when they are sequentially arranged along a first axis and at least one carrier may receive another carrier of information on its right side, along a second axis. The system also includes image capturing device for capturing a digital image of an arrangement of the carriers forming the computer program. A computer device has a display screen and is configured to process the image; recognize the carriers on the image; determine the arrangement of the carriers with respect to each other; superimpose on the image a graphical icon above the marker of each recognized carrier; output the combined digital image and convert the determined arrangement to the computer program.

Electrical connectors, electrical modules, and systems are provided. In one aspect, an electrical connector includes a housing defining a side surface, an electrical conductor supported by the housing and including an engagement portion proximate the side surface of the housing. The engagement portion is adapted to engage another electrical conductor of another electrical connector. The connector also includes a magnet supported by the housing proximate the side surface of the housing, a projection extending from the side surface of the housing, and a receptacle defined in the side surface of the housing. In other aspects, an electrical module includes at least one of these electrical connectors. In further aspects, a system includes a plurality of these modules and the modules are selectively couplable together.

A mechatronic training and simulation system and method of detecting and resolving complex control system errors in automation-driven process that replicates a scaled factory. The system provides student work stations that allow students to monitor, analyze and repair an automation-driven process. The automation-driven process includes at least one scaled model factory station simulator such as: a robot station, a warehouse station, a furnace processing station, and error checking color sorting station. A problem interjecting device to introduce errors to the automation-driven process through discrete I/O interfacing to interrupt process flow by breaking inputs and breaking outputs. Students at the student work stations, independently or concurrently, analyze and repair interruptions in automation-driven process through use of interface software and electrical measurement instruments. Students learn theoretical and practical hands on technical knowledge for debugging and troubleshooting programmable logic control systems and automation-driven mechanical systems.

A computing device may include a display, a memory to store electronic textbook data comprising at least one configurable problem to be solved for a system having a plurality of different parameters, a user input device, and a processor coupled to the display, the memory, and the user input device. The processor may be configured to display the electronic textbook data with the at least one configurable problem on the display, selectively change at least one of the parameters of the system to define a new solution for the at least one configurable problem based upon the user input device, and display the new solution on the display.

A computing device may include a display, a memory to store electronic textbook data comprising at least one configurable problem to be solved using a given solution technique from among a plurality of different solution techniques, a user input device, and a processor coupled to the display, the memory, and the user input device. The processor may be configured to display the electronic textbook data with the at least one configurable problem on the display, selectively change the given solution technique for the at least one configurable problem based upon the user input device, and display a solution for the at least one configurable problem on the display responsive to the change in the given solution technique.
BREADBOARD AND ELECTRONICS EXPERIMENTATION SYSTEM
An electronic breadboard system may include a computing device including a display screen. The display screen has a first portion to display an electronic circuit model and a second portion directly adjacent to the first portion. The electronic breadboard system also includes a translucent breadboard on the second portion of the display screen. The translucent breadboard includes a translucent face plate having a rectangular grid of openings exposing a plurality of contacts. The plurality of contacts are arranged lengthwise along each row of the rectangular grid of openings and orthogonal to a transparent back plate coupling the plurality of contacts to the translucent face plate. The electronic breadboard system includes a graphics controller. The graphics controller may illuminate a row opening and/or a column opening of the translucent breadboard to direct placement of electrical components of a computer model in response to user interaction with the electronic circuit model.

Technical solutions are directed to computer code evaluation using ML architecture. A processor can apply a filter to select, from entries of a computer code for a client solution to a test problem, code portions of the computer code, corresponding to timestamps. The processor can generate, using ML models, a timeline using the code portions and corresponding timestamps. The timeline can identify actions performed in creating the client solution. The processor can generate, using the ML models, the timeline, the code portions and the timestamps, for each evaluation parameter of the evaluation parameters, a textual output describing performance along the evaluation parameter and a description of one or more actions of the sequence of actions associated with the evaluation parameter. The processor can provide, for display, a report including the textual output for each of the evaluation parameters and based on the one or more actions of the sequence.
