Color-coded cable identification assembly and cable
The present disclosure relates to a color-coded cable identification assembly and a cable. The cable identification assembly comprises: a support element including a fixing element adapted to fix the support element to a cable; and a plurality of identification elements, which are detachably mounted on the support element with the cable being located between the support element and the plurality of identification elements. Each identification element has a predetermined color so that the plurality of identification elements are capable of forming a predetermined color code to identify the cable. The cable identification assembly according to the present disclosure can be very easily and rapidly mounted to the cable, thereby greatly saving the installation time of workers and thus reducing the labor cost and the chance of making a mistake. Compared with a conventional adhesive tape, the cable identification assembly according to the present disclosure can meet the requirements such as anti-ultraviolet, anti-aging and reuse, thereby further reducing the cost of the cable identification assembly.
LASER-WRITABLE MARKING LABEL
A composition for producing a laser-inscribable identification tag for attachment to an assembly to be identified includes: a polymeric plastic; and a filler. The filler comprises graphene particles, barium particles, and/or barium sulfate particles. In an embodiment, the polymeric plastic includes polypropylene, polyethylene, PVC, TPU, TPE, TPV, PP/PA, polyketone, PA, ABS, PET, and/or PMMA.
LABEL WITH WIRELESS COMMUNICATION CAPABILITY FOR VIAL OR TUBE
A label for a tube having a diameter D may have a transparent facestock. A printing area is defined on a first surface of the transparent facestock, the printing area configured to receive data thereon, the printing area covering only a portion of the transparent facestock, whereby a shielding portion of the length of the label is transparent. An adhesive layer is on a second surface of the facestock. A wireless communication inlay is adhered to the adhesive layer in a portion of the label corresponding to the printing area. The printing area and the facestock are sized for the shielding portion to overlap at least partially the printing area when the label is wrapped on a tube.
Method and apparatus for applying labels to cable
A method for applying a label to an electrical cable having an outermost sheath with convolutions defining alternating peaks and valleys, the method including attaching the label to the sheath. The label includes a label substrate, the label substrate includes an attaching side, the attaching side being attached through an adhesive; and the label attaches to the peaks and spans across the valleys and circumferentially wraps around the sheath.
Display Apparatus
A display apparatus has a panel for receiving and/or displaying advertising material. The apparatus also includes a connector that is attachable to the panel, and a fastener for removably connecting the panel to a pipe of a beverage font. The fastener is removably attachable to the connector in two or more orientations.
IDENTIFICATION TAG
An identification tag is described that includes a tab portion having a unique identifier, an anchor portion, and a tether portion connecting the tab portion to the anchor portion. The anchor portion has a permanent pressure sensitive adhesive to secure the tag to one of a patch cable or a port disposed in a patch panel. In an exemplary aspect, the tag portion, anchor portion and the tether portion of the tag are formed as an integral structure. The unique identifier is a two-dimensional code, that is printed as an inversed image to provide improved network security and prevent reading of the unique identifiers by unapproved reading devices.
TUBE
A long tube formed of an elastic material includes: an upper portion including a printable upper surface; a lower portion facing the upper portion; a first side wall connecting the upper portion and the lower portion; a second side wall connecting the upper portion and the lower portion and facing the first side wall; a first upper joint portion located at a connection portion between the upper portion and the first side wall and configured to bend the first side wall with respect to the upper portion; a first lower joint portion located at a connection portion between the lower portion and the first side wall and configured to bend the first side wall with respect to the lower portion; and a first side wall joint portion configured to bend the first side wall.
Printable Hook and Loop Structure
A printable structure is configured to create a temporary bind as one half of a hook and loop connection with another half of the hook and loop connection. The printable structure includes a substrate, an adhesive layer, and a print-receptive topcoat. The substrate has two opposing surfaces including a fastening surface that is one of a hook fastening surface and a loop fastening surface of the hook and loop connection and including a textured surface that is textured with surface relief in a direction parallel to a direction of thickness of the printable structure. The adhesive layer is coupled to the textured surface of the substrate. The print-receptive topcoat is coupled to the adhesive layer on a side opposite the substrate. The adhesive layer fills in the surface relief such that there are no un-filled gaps beneath the print-receptive topcoat to level the print-receptive topcoat.
Conductor marker
A connector marker for identifying an electrical conductor includes a marker body formed of a synthetic plastic material and a pair of generally planar half sections normally arranged in an initial open condition in horizontal coplanar side-by-side relation. At least one of the half sections has an upper surface carrying labeling indicia. At least one integral film hinge device connects the adjacent side edges of the half sections, thereby to afford pivotal displacement of the half sections about a given pivot axis from the open condition toward a closed condition enclosing the electrical conductor to be marked. At least one non-skid element extends from the hinge device for non-skid engagement with the outer peripheral surface of the conductor as the half sections are pivotally displaced from the open condition to the closed condition, thereby to prevent longitudinal slipping of the marker body relative to the conductor.
Method and apparatus for applying labels to cable
An apparatus for attaching a label to a moving cable, the apparatus comprising: a roller for pressing a label against the moving cable, wherein the label has a first attaching edge and a second attaching edge and wherein the roller comprises: a first roller for pressing the label against the moving cable, wherein the label is pressed against the moving cable with the first attaching edge and the second attaching edge of the label on opposites sides of the moving cable; a first roll down roller for folding the second edge of the label against the moving cable; and a second roll down roller for folding the first edge of the label against the moving cable.
