Adaptable planter system
An adaptive planter system enables a container in which plants grow to be secured to the ground. It also allows for use of the space above the plants in decorative, artistic or practical ways. A shaft anchors the body of the system to the ground and provides a way to attach banners, handles, figures or the like to the opposite end.
Seal and sealing method
The invention relates to a seal containing a substrate which can be applied to an object to be sealed, so that said seal is changed when it is removed without authorization, wherein the substrate contains or comprises a polymer and/or a glass and at least one optical waveguide is arranged in the substrate, at least one first Bragg grating being arranged in said optical waveguide, wherein the substrate has a thickness of less than 200 m. The invention further relates to a system having a seal of this kind and having an evaluation device, and also to a sealing method.
Plant label and tag and methods of making and using
A plant label has a substrate and a permanent adhesive layer on a release liner. An identifier portion of the substrate and a tag portion of the substrate are defined by a detach line that enables the tag portion to be detached from the identifier portion. The tag portion has an adhesive deadener on the permanent adhesive layer, a strip of the permanent adhesive layer of the detachable portion free of adhesive deadener, and a tab having only adhesive deadener on the permanent adhesive layer that enables the tag portion to be detached from the identifier portion and from a container to which the label is affixed.
Greeting article
A decorative greeting article comprising a sheet of paper having a written inscription inscribed upon its center portion, readable in an unrolled position, and formable into a rolled cylinder having a hollow interior and an opening in a rolled position. The opening of the cylinder can receive a decorative member which can be a natural or an artificial flower or a bouquet of flowers or other novelty item, and a stem part that extends into the hollow interior of the cylinder. A securing means, optionally decorative, including an adhesive surface, releasably secures the sheet of paper in the rolled, cylinder position. A user can grasp and pull a pull tab to release the securing means from the cylinder, releasing the sheet to be unrolled and viewed by the user.
SHEET-LIKE ARTICLE
A unitary sheet-like article has a material sheet including a first edge and an elastic sheet including an aperture and a second edge. The material sheet and the elastic sheet overlap at an overlap portion defined between the first and second edges. The material sheet and the elastic sheet are bonded together at the overlap portion. The aperture of the elastic sheet is not located on the overlap portion.
LABELING ARTICLE WITH ENCAPSULATED TAG END
An article includes a tag and an elastic mechanism. The tag includes a front surface, a rear surface, first and second ends, a first fold defining a first bent portion, and a central span. The rear surface of the first bent portion is configured to face the rear surface of the central span. The elastic mechanism is secured to the first bent portion, wherein a first connection zone between the elastic mechanism and the first bent portion includes a first elastomer portion that extends along the rear surface of the first bent portion, extends around the first end, and includes a second elastomer portion that extends along the front surface of the first bent portion. An article strip includes a plurality of tags and a plurality of elastic mechanisms. Adjacent tags are separated by a weakened demarcation. A method of forming a plurality of articles is also described.
IDENTIFICATION TAGGING SYSTEM FOR HARVESTING MACHINES AND METHOD THEREOF
The present disclosure is for a bale tag assembly for coupling to a baled crop that has twine formed of a plurality of fibers and a bale tag at least partially embedded in the twine. The bale tag has an embedded antenna configured to provide an identification number associated with the bale tag.
Merchandise labeling
A unitary sheet-like merchandise labeling article that has a labeling tag flatly conjoined along a unifying flat bond zone with a flexible elastic layer that extends away from the tag and includes an elastic fastening loop. The loop sides that define the loop are wider than the thickness of the elastic layer. Further, the flexible elastic layer that extends away from the tag has a thickness greater than the thickness of the tag and has a dispersion zone adjacent the unifying flat bond zone. The dispersion zone allows dissipation of elastic loop in-line stretching forces sufficiently to reduce transmission of such forces into the bond zone.
Plant stake and display tag holder
A plant stake and display tag holder for use with a nursery container such as a pot or free-standing planter. The display tag is attached to the container and is accessible and visible to the consumer without obstruction from the container or plant contained therein. The bottom of the plant stake inserts into a slit in the rim portion of a nursery container and locks into place to hold the plant stake upright and securely in place. The display tag is held above the soil line and avoids the common problems associated with display tag holders inserted below the soil line.
PLANT LABELING SYSTEM AND GARDEN TOOLS
A plant labeling system includes an adjustable, malleable support made of weather-resistant material, a tag made of weather-resistant material removably secured to the support and a label removable affixed to the tag corresponding to a predetermined type of plant. The system may also include an electronic identification beacon removably attached to at least one of the support, tag or label. A method for manufacturing a plant labeling system includes preparing a malleable support made of weather-resistant material having one end configured to stake into the ground; mixing malleable material that becomes weather resistant when cured; rolling out the malleable material onto sheets having a support matrix; cutting malleable material to predetermined size and shape for plant tag; integrating the malleable material with the support; shaping resulting integrated material and support into predetermined size and shape; and curing the integrated material and support into the finished labeling system.
