WENZEL-CASSIE GLOVE
A glove with an enhanced gripping textured surface is disclosed herein. In preferred embodiments, the glove contains a palm region adapted to cover the palm of a person's hand, a thumb region extending outwardly from the palm region, an index finger region disposed adjacent the thumb region, a middle finger region adjacent the index finger region, a ring finger region adjacent the middle finger region, and a little finger region adjacent the ring finger region with each region containing a textured surface. In preferred embodiments, the textured surface is formed by a plurality of dimensionally hierarchical structures superimposed in layers. The textured surface of the invention, when in contact with wet tissue, repels water at a first texture layer and traps tissue at a second texture layer, such that when in tissue contact, especially exudative tissue, tissue fixatively localizes to the glove surface.
Gripping Aid
This disclosure describes a gripping aid to improve the hand-to-handle interface. The gripping aid increases the grip span of a user by bridging the anatomical gaps in the user's finger and thumb. The gripping aid provide a structure along the thumb web to oppose the gripping force of the fingers/thumb to increase grip strength. In some implementations, the gripping aid may be composed of a crush resistant and further include a fulcrum point to add instability to increase the speed and/or torque of each swing of a handle. In some implementations, the gripping aid may also provide a reduction in vibrations and superficial hand traumas normally caused when the handle strikes an object.
Enhanced Garment and Method of Using the Same
An enhanced garment and method of using the same is characterized by a garment that provides for one or more grip pads to be secured onto or integrated into the garment at locations where the grip pads may be advantageous to the user. In some embodiments, the positioning of the grip pads on or within the garment may correspond to locations wherein friction, cushioning, or other advantage is desired. When in use, the present invention may provide that the user may grip objects more securely, manipulate objects equipment more efficiently, or otherwise perform tasks in a desired way.
HAND WEAR STORAGE POCKET
An article of clothing for at least partly covering a human torso, the article including a hand wear storage pocket having a front opening, upper and lower edges, and an rear wall, a rear portion of the hand wear storage pocket being disposed in an underarm area, the front opening and a height between the upper and lower edges being selected to allow insertion of a hand within a hand wear item.
Goalkeeper glove
A glove is provided and includes a cuff providing an opening to the glove. A back panel defines a first portion of finger sheaths and a thumb sheath and extends along the finger sheaths and the thumb sheath to the cuff. A palm panel is disposed on an opposite side of the glove from the back panel and defines a second portion of the finger sheaths and the thumb sheath. The palm panel is formed from a material having a greater coefficient of friction than a material of the back panel and extends along the finger sheaths and the thumb sheath to the cuff. The palm panel tapers in a direction from the finger sheaths to the cuff. A gusset extends between and is attached to the back panel and the palm panel and is formed from a different material than the back panel and the palm panel.
Seamless ridge reinforced glove
A seamless knitted glove that includes a knitted ridge is disclosed. Methods for forming the glove are disclosed.
Thumb Mounted Ammunition Loader
A thumb mounted ammunition loader engages a digit, preferably a thumb, of the user's hand to protect the digit while loading ammunition into a magazine. The thumb mounted ammunition loader additionally maintains traction to the pressure applied to the ammunition, as the thumb mounted ammunition loader provides a barrier to depositing skin oil onto the ammunition. The thumb mounted ammunition loader includes a digit-mounting tube, a digit-receiving opening, a distal-closed end, and at least one joint-accommodating aperture. The digit-mounting tube engages the digit. The digit-receiving opening allows the digit to be inserted into the digit-mounting tube. The distal-closed end interfaces with the ammunition as the user applies pressure to the ammunition through the distal-closed end. The at least one joint-accommodating aperture provides flexibility of the thumb mounted ammunition loader for the user to maintain range of motion of the digit.
Partial-hand glove
A partial-hand glove includes a first glove portion, a second glove portion, and a base glove portion. The first glove portion is configured to surround a portion of only an index finger of a hand of a user. The outer end of the first glove portion is configured to be spaced from a tip of the index finger. The second glove portion is configured to surround a portion of only a thumb of the hand of the user. The outer end of the second glove portion is configured to be spaced from a tip of the thumb. The base glove portion is connected to the respective inner ends of the first glove portion and the second glove portion. The first glove portion and the base glove portion collectively define an interior side of the glove opposite the second glove portion.
NON-CONTACT GRASPING MITT
Protective devices have first and second members and an integral hinge joining the members together. The first and second members have external pockets along an outside surface that accommodate placement of a user's fingers therein from the same hand. The first and second members include opposed inside surfaces that are opposite the respective outside surfaces. The device is opened by the user moving their thumb and fingers in the pockets away from each other to move the inside surfaces outwardly to accept an object or surface. The device inside surfaces and inside surface of the hinge is the only surface contacting the object or surface during use. The device is closed by the user moving their thumb and fingers toward each other, causing the inside surfaces to move toward each other. An attachment mechanism us used to keep the inside surfaces contained to avoid unwanted cross-contamination during storage and/or transport.
VEGETABLE GRIP
A device adapted for handling slippery objects, such as peeled vegetables, is disclosed. The device can include a first finger cover; a second finger cover, in which each of the first and second finger covers includes an outer surface defining an inner volume having an open end; a strap coupling a first side of the first finger cover to a first side of the second finger cover; and a gripping surface formed on at least a portion of at least one of the first finger cover or the second finger cover.
