Intelligent Shelf Display System
An apparatus and a method are provided for an intelligent shelf display system that creates an intimate customer experience and helps retailers increase operational efficiencies. The system is comprised of a cabinet top to display animated and/or graphical content and is mounted on top of in-store shelves. A fascia to display animated and/or graphical content is extended along each shelf of the in-store shelves. A media player executes multiple media files that are simultaneously displayed on the cabinet top and the fascia. The cabinet top and the fascia display content to entice customers to approach the shelves, and then the fascia switch to displaying pricing information once a customer is nearby. A proximity sensor detects the presence of the customer. Stock sensors track the inventory stocked on the in-store shelves. Alerts are created once the merchandise remaining on the shelves is reduced to a predetermined minimum threshold quantity.
Electronic price label and electronic price label system
An electronic price label system and electronic price label include a communicator configured to receive information relating to a product, a display for displaying information relating to a product, and a fastening ring for fastening the electronic price label to a product. The fastening ring is arranged to function as an antenna of the electronic price label, in which fastening ring a loop is formed.
Shelving display
One broad aspect of the invention features a shelving facing display. The shelving facing display includes a housing, an electronic display, and multiple product sensors. The housing is mountable to a forward edge of a product shelf. The electronic display is mounted to the housing and arranged to be viewed from in front of the shelf. The electronic display is controllable to present desired images across at least a majority of a width of the shelf. The multiple product sensors are mounted to the housing. Each sensor is arranged to detect product on a respective width of the shelf. The display is configured to alter a displayed image in response to input from the product sensors.
Adjustable electronic tag device for a suitcase
An adjustable electronic tag device for a suitcase or luggage includes an electronic tag provided with a fixing assembly thereon. The fixing assembly fixes the electronic tag to the suitcase. The fixing assembly includes a positioning member including a binding hole and a movable fastener arranged in the binding hole. The positioning member connects with an end of a binder and another of the binder encircles the suitcase and penetrates through the binding hole. The binder has a plurality of bars arranged in rows, and the movable fastener is fastened with at least one of the plurality of bars to fix the binder.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REDUCED INFUSION ADMINISTRATION LINE ERROR
A method of associating an infusion bag (e.g., bottle, pouch, or other container), an administration set, and a pump of an infusion device includes receiving an indication that an administration set is being coupled to a pump, the indication including an administration set identifier of the administration set. The method includes transmitting data about an association of an infusion bag identifier with the administration set identifier. The method includes receiving first information about a content of the infusion bag associated with the infusion bag identifier. The method includes receiving a drug identification for a medical fluid to be infused, and evaluating the drug identification with the first information about the content of the infusion container. In accordance with determining that the first information about the content of the infusion bag corresponds to the drug identification, permitting the pump to start infusing the content of the infusion bag.
NETWORK-BASED AUTOMATIC INVENTORY CONTROL AND PURCHASING SYSTEM FOR INDIRECT MATERIALS USING INTERACTIVE ELECTRONIC SHELF LABELS
A computer-implemented system for analyzing and replenishing inventories of items at a plurality of customer sites at which electronic inventory tracking devices are deployed. A system platform is configured to receive, from the electronic inventory tracking devices, indications of inventory changes in the inventory levels of the items at the locations. The inventory levels of the items at the locations are evaluated determine whether inventories of the items are required to be replenished. This evaluation involves evaluating the availability of substitutes for the item at other locations as well as the availability of item alternatives and the determination of an aggregate need for the item among multiple locations. Overall prices including distribution costs are determined for various packaging permutations of the item capable of fulfilling the aggregate need. Purchase orders corresponding to a selected one or more of the packaging permutations are then generated for issuance to vendors.
ELECTRONIC SHELF LABEL AND SHELF ILLUMINATION DEVICES
An electronic shelf label, which is arranged to be attached to a shelf, preferred to a shelf rail located at the front edge of a shelf floor, more preferred to form the shelf rail by itself and to be directly attached to the shelf floor, the electronic shelf label comprises: a display screen arranged on or as the front wall of the electronic shelf label to display content in the form of a still or video image, the display screen comprises a light source to provide a backlit for the display screen, and an illumination device, which is independently controllable form the light source and arranged to emit light from the electronic shelf label from a different wall than its front wall.
