SHELVING DISPLAY
One broad aspect of the invention features a shelving facing display. The shelving facing display includes a housing, an electronic display, and multiple product sensors. The housing is mountable to a forward edge of a product shelf. The electronic display is mounted to the housing and arranged to be viewed from in front of the shelf. The electronic display is controllable to present desired images across at least a majority of a width of the shelf. The multiple product sensors are mounted to the housing. Each sensor is arranged to detect product on a respective width of the shelf. The display is configured to alter a displayed image in response to input from the product sensors.
System for Inventory Management
Sensor-equipped display management systems and methods that may be used to calculate a number of products removed from a display management system based upon motion of one or more mechanisms within the display management system. Additionally, the systems and methods may be used to detect patterns from the sensor data, which may be indicative of attempted theft of products stored within the display management system.
ELECTRONIC SHELF LABEL (ESL) ANTENNA DESIGN
According to various aspects and technical advantages, an apparatus for electronic shelf labels includes a controller circuit for communicating with communication devices using a contactless communication protocol, a set of two or more antenna coils, each antenna coil located at a known position relative to the controller circuit, and a switch for selectively coupling the controller circuit to one or more of the set of antenna coils. The controller circuit is configured to determine a physical location of a communication device based on which antenna coil from the set of antenna coils the communication device is using to communicate with the controller circuit
PRODUCT INFORMATION MANAGEMENT DEVICE
The present invention relates to a product information management device. The product information management device, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a legacy interface unit for receiving, from a web server, product information to be displayed on electronic labels corresponding to respective products to be displayed on shelves; an information management unit for generating layout information for arranging the product information on the electronic labels, and image information to be displayed on the electronic labels together with the product information; and a communication unit for transmitting, to the electronic labels, the product information, the layout information, and the image information through a gateway module by multiple frequency channels, and updating the product information through a wake up command when the electronic labels are in a sleep mode. According to the present invention, product information to be displayed on electronic labels is managed and updated by using a web server such that the electronic labels and the product information can easily be managed in real time at any location.
RADIO BASE STATION AND SYSTEM HAVING SAID RADIO BASE STATION
The invention relates to a base station or a radio access point having a plurality of radio modules, of which one communicates with electronic price indication signs. If a plurality of radio modules use the same frequencies and communicate simultaneously, disturbances can occur in the form of interference. The invention solves this problem in that the radio modules (21, 22, 23) are coupled (24) such that a radio module (22) can influence another radio module (21, 23) with regard to the radio activity of said other radio module. In particular, the radio module that communicates with the electronic price indication signs (22) can silence the other radio modules (21, 23) by means of a radio activity control signal (FS).
FORGERY-PROOF LABEL AND FABRICATION METHOD THEREOF
The present disclosure discloses a forgery-proof label and a fabrication method thereof. The forgery-proof label includes a thin film battery and an OLED display unit operable to display a first preset pattern when being powered by the thin film battery. The forgery-proof label is easy to recognize and difficult to reuse.
Bedding Product With Age Indicator
A mattress age indicating device includes an enclosure and an indicating assembly contained within the enclosure. The age indicating device may be configured to present an indication related to the mattress's age and may be coupled to the mattress or other bedding or seating product.
Luminous Element Arrangement for the Dynamic Display of a Machine-Readable Code
The invention relates to a luminous element arrangement (A), in particular a luminous element field, comprising a plurality of luminous elements, at least one communication interface (5), in particular a bus and/or radio interface, and a converter unit (2), said converter unit (2) activating and/or deactivating the plurality of luminous elements of the luminous element arrangement (A) in response to a signal received via the communication interface (5) such that in top view onto the luminous element arrangement (A) a machine-readable code, in particular a one-dimensional or two-dimensional, machine-readable code is represented.
ELECTRONIC PRICE LABEL AND ELECTRONIC PRICE LABEL SYSTEM
An electronic price label system and an electronic price label, which include a communication device for receiving information related to a product. The electronic price label further includes a first display for displaying information related to the product, and a second display for displaying information related to the product. The first display and the second display are separate displays, and the first display and second display are adapted to be controlled separate from each other.
PEG HOOK LABEL APPARATUS
A peg hook label apparatus includes a body provided with an electronic display unit displaying product information, and a holder provided on one end of the body and configured to have a first width in a portion connected to the body, the first width being greater than a second width of a locking hook disposed on an end portion thereof.
