DISPLAY METHOD AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A display method and an electronic device are provided in embodiments of the disclosure. The method includes determining whether a text content is contained in screen contents to be displayed after the screen contents to be displayed are received; driving an electronic ink display screen of the electronic device to display the text content at a first display area, and driving a transparent display screen of the electronic device to display the remaining content of the screen contents other than the text content at a second display area if the text content is determined to be contained in the screen contents, wherein the first display area and the second display area are not overlapped; driving the transparent display screen to display the screen contents if no text content is determined to be contained in the screen contents. It can be seen that, embodiments of the present disclosure are beneficial to display the screen contents integrating display characteristics of the plurality of display screens disposed by the electronic device, which can save the display power consumption of the electronic device.
Portable electronic device and operation method thereof
A portable electronic device including a first touch display device, a second touch display device and a processing device is provided. The first touch display device is disposed on a first surface of a device body and configured to display a first image frame. The second touch display device is disposed on a second surface of the device body, configured to display a second image frame and receives a touch input. The processing device is coupled to the first touch display and the second touch display. The processing device is configured to verify gesture information of the touch input to determine whether to execute an application associated with the gesture information. The first image frame of the first touch display device correspond to the application. In addition, a method of operating the portable electronic device is also provided.

A method for addressing a bistable electro-optic display having at least one pixel comprises applying an addressing pulse to drive the pixel to a first optical state; leaving the pixel undriven for a period of time, thereby permitting the pixel to assume a second optical state different from the first optical state; and applying to the pixel a refresh pulse which substantially restores the pixel to the first optical state, the refresh pulse being short relative to the addressing pulse.

An electronic sensing device includes a display having a display surface and a plurality of micro light emitters configured to emit light for forming a display image on the display surface. A plurality of micro photodetectors is configured to detect light conditions at the display surface. A transceiver circuit is configured to drive the micro light emitters to emit light, drive the micro photodetectors to detect light and generate photo signals based on the detected light, coordinate the driving of the micro light emitters and of the micro photodetectors, and process the photo signals according to at least one of a list of sensing modes. The plurality of micro light emitters and the plurality of micro photodetectors are arranged on a surface of a display substrate.

The invention is meant to replace LED matrix signs in said automated transportation systems, displaying existing functional messages while adding full color images and videos for dynamic content and advertising delivery without the need to modify the existing mechanical, electrical communication infrastructure where applicable.

The transparent electroconductive film of one transparent electroconductive resin substrate having a primer layer is cut through a cutting line to have a shape of a picture or character, and the cutting line is in a form that a start point for the cutting and an end point for the cutting make a closed region. The closed region of the picture of character is electrically insulated from the transparent electroconductive film around the shape of the picture or character. The light control film enables to improve adhesiveness between film matrix and substrates and to provide stable control function.

The invention includes photoelectrophoretic displays and methods for creating reflective images using photoelectrophoretic displays. A photoelectrophoretic display typically includes a transparent electrode, an encapsulated photoelectrophoretic medium, and a rear electrode. An image is created by supplying an electrical potential between the electrodes that is insufficient to cause the photoelectrophoretic particles to move to the transparent electrode in the absence of incident light. In the presence of incident light, however, the photoelectrophoretic particles move to the viewing surface (transparent electrode), thereby producing an image.

A temperature sensing module for a display device includes a temperature sensing routing, configured on a panel of the display device; and a temperature sensing unit, able to sense a resistance of the temperature sensing routing and generate a temperature indicating information according to the resistance; wherein the temperature indicating information indicates an operating temperature of an active area of the panel and is utilized to adjust at least one driving signal that controls the active area to display images.
