An apparatus for archiving music created on guitars including acoustic and electric, comprising an archiving device configured to record as well as archive any combination of riffs, songs, and leads comprises a PCB that comprises all the electrical connections along with a pair of batteries to power up the archiving device, wherein the PCB comprises a controller configured to detect music played on the said guitar and automatically record the music played upon a memory card inserted into the memory card slot; a disc-shaped user interface plate that sits beneath a knob of a potentiometer on the top surface of the said guitar, wherein the user interface plate has a plurality of buttons, a plurality of LEDs, a memory card slot, and a USB slot.

A stringed instrument body includes a top body having a groove/shelf engagement structure, and a back body having a corresponding shelf/groove engagement structure that is engagable with the groove/shelf engagement structure of the top body. When the corresponding shelf/groove engagement structure is engaged with the groove/shelf engagement structure, a projecting portion of the groove/shelf engagement structure of the top body projects within the back body and contacts a corresponding recessed portion of the shelf/groove engagement structure of the back body.

Guitar strings made of a magnetic copper-nickel-tin-manganese alloy are disclosed. Also disclosed are processing steps that can be performed to fabricate the guitar strings from the alloy. Further described herein are alternative uses for the strings on other electric stringed instruments.

The embodiments herein provide a system and method for instantly switching sound pickups in an electric guitar using a spin wheel arrangement in the middle of a song. The spin wheel houses a pickup assembly with multiple pickups. The spin wheel allows a guitar player to easily roll neck pickup to bridge position and bridge pickup to neck position in middle of a song by rotating the spin wheel. A click stop arrangement halts wheel rotation after completing a semi-circular rotation around a center screw. The backend portion of pickups is connected to spring loaded plunger. The contact pads at bottom portion of guitar body establishes electrical connections between pickups and control components. The pickups under the strings get activated. The spin wheel arrangement allows a guitar player to add favorite pickups for generating various tonalities beyond the limit of a single guitar.

The Stabilizer Tuner adjustably supports a formed spring or a pre-loaded coil spring element operable to hold a variable force of tension to enforce initial position. The Tremolo Stabilizer includes a thumbwheel arrangement to variably adjust the position of an independent stabilizer arrangement. Tremolo Spring Tuner includes a pre-loaded coil spring element or formed flat spring operable to exert a first variable force of tension to contact the body with the capacity to variably support the pivoting of tremolo under the variable force of the string tension; the first force of tension is essentially equal to the force of tension provided by the strings to establish the fulcrum tremolo at initial position.

HEADPIECE TUNER is integrated into the nut arrangement of a traditional headless musical instrument featuring lever-based individual string clamps, a removable nut, a truss rod adjustment feature and multi-function cross bar handle. A Magnetic Tuner comprising at least one of two magnetic elements secured to a tremolo, in fulcrum tremolos, moveable therewith about the tremolo pivot axis, in a mechanism operable to provide a first force of tension comprising the traditional tremolo coil spring biasing element and/or, in the case of coil spring integrated tremolo stabilizers, provide a second force of tension to enforce the tremolo at the equilibrium point or initial position.

A musical instrument, particularly a stringed instrument, has a structure that decouples the body of the player from all parts of the instrument which are indirectly responsible for the sound production for preventing the body of the player from damping the vibrations of the instrument. Instead of a top cover being the main source of indirect sound production, the musical instrument now has an annular plate which is positioned between covers. Any damping effect on the resonance of the annular plate is minimized by positioning a bridge on the annular plate to avoid any contact between the bridge and the top cover, and applying an acoustically decoupling layer between the covers and the annular plate. The covers provide protection against any damping effect of the player's body on the annular plate. This structure also minimizes the tendency of an acoustic feedback loop, 2 which may occur in the case of an electrically amplified stringed instrument.

Sonic improvement for all stringed instruments that employ a fulcrum tremolo bridge system with back of instrument counter tensioning springs. The improvement is provided by securing springs to claw assembly, as well as securing claw assemble to a flat plate of material which is in turn secured to instrument body. The claw and resonator plate can be fabricated as two individual pieces then fastened together or as a combined one piece assemble that is then fastened to instrument body.
