Analog recall synthesizer having patch and knob recall
A sound generating analog synthesizer that is comprised of potentiometers, a switch or switches and a set of patch jacks has a control system that can be operated in three modes, a manual mode, an automatic mode, and a guided mode; wherein manual mode allows potentiometer and switch positions as well as patch cable connections to be set by hand; wherein automatic mode, automatically sets patch connections as on or off, as well as set potentiometer positions and switch states with electromechanical or electrical devices; and wherein the guided mode provides at least one visual information on how to change the potentiometer positions, switch states and patch jack connections such that a previously obtained sound can be reproduced.
Fingerless Digital Musical Effects Controller Glove
The Fingerless Digital Musical Effects Controller Glove is a glove-mounted wearable device that includes a flex sensor placed to record the movement of a wearer's wrist, an accelerometer, and a flexible pressure sensor or switch on the palm of the glove. The device transmits data wirelessly to digital audio software running on an external personal computer, laptop, or smartphone, allowing users to control various parameters of the resultant sound or performance. The Fingerless Digital Musical Effects Controller Glove is so configured as to be perceived by the external computer as a MIDI or audio device, making it compatible with existing digital audio software. The glove is lightweight, flexible, and fingerless, allowing for unencumbered movement of the user's fingersthus freely allowing simultaneous use of a musical instrument or other musical equipment.
Musical strum and percussion controller
A controller for musical instrument models is presented, comprising acoustic elements with embedded vibration sensors that the user actuates for example by plucking, strumming, or striking the elements. A vibration sensor attached to each acoustic element is used to generate an excitation signal for musical instrument models. A note input interface can be included so that note input such as MIDI can be used to control the musical pitch of the musical instrument models.
Electronic wind instrument, method of controlling electronic wind instrument, and storage medium storing program for electronic wind instrument
An electronic wind instrument according to one aspect of the present invention includes a plurality of performance keys for specifying pitches, a breath sensor which detects at least a breath input operation, and a controller (CPU), wherein the controller (CPU) selectively switches between a first mode of outputting first sound waveform data generated on the basis of the breath input operation and operation of at least one performance key from among the plurality of performance keys, and a second mode of, when the breath input operation is detected, outputting second sound waveform data based on musical piece data regardless of whether operation of the at least one performance key is detected or is not detected.
Musical instrument
A musical instrument comprising a mouthpiece and an elongated body, the elongated body comprises a plurality of finger contacts. The finger contacts comprise a first set of contacts arranged such that they may be simultaneously contacted by the little, ring, middle and index finger of the right hand and a second set of contacts arranged such that they may be simultaneously contacted by the little, ring, middle and index finger of the left hand. It further comprises a first thumb contact for contact by the right thumb and a second thumb contact for contact by the left thumb. The instrument comprises a tone generator controlled by the plurality of contacts, such that a first set of successive half tones is generated under control of the second set of contacts when the first thumb contact is operated, a second set of successive half tones is generated under control of the first set of contacts when the second thumb contact is operated, a third set of successive half tones is generated under control of the second set of contacts when the first thumb contact is freed; and a fourth set of successive half tones is generated under control of the first set of contacts when the second thumb contact is freed.

Electronic idiophone with lights
An electronic musical instrument comprising a lower frame member having a first end and a second end, and above the handle portion of the first end are a plurality of apertures extending through the lower frame member towards the second end, pins mounted within the plurality of apertures in predetermined locations, jingles loosely mounted to the pins, so that when the instrument is shaken a tambourine sound is emitted, an upper frame member having a first end and a second end wherein the first end of the upper frame member is attached distal to the first end of the lower frame member, at least one strip attached to the lower frame member, and an activation switch attached to the upper frame member, so that when the second end of the upper frame member and the second end of the lower frame member come in contact the strip is activated.
Polypeptide having protease activity and methods for increasing its activity thereof
The present invention relates to a polypeptide having protease activity comprising a zinc finger protease domain, a helix-turn-helix domain and a GAF domain. The core protein sequence of the protease is shown as SEQ ID NO: 1. The invention also relates to optimized reaction conditions for the protease and methods of increasing the protease activity.
Electronic wind instrument capable of performing a tonguing process
An electronic wind instrument is provided with a processor (CPU 5) and plural touch sensors (a detecting unit 12s and detecting units 13s) disposed along a first direction. A first output variable da/dt is obtained, representing a variation per unit time of an output value from a first sensor (detecting unit 12s) in the plural touch sensors disposed on the side close to first end (tip side) in the first direction. A second output variable dS/dt is obtained, representing a variation per unit time of a sum of output values from second sensors (detecting units 13s) disposed between a second end (heel side) and the first sensor in the first direction. The processor judges based on the first output variable da/dt and the second output variable dS/dt whether a tonging process should be performed.
