Voice synthesizing method and voice synthesizing apparatus
A voice synthesizing apparatus includes a first receiver configured to receive first utterance control information generated by detecting a start of a manipulation on a manipulating member by a user, a first synthesizer configured to synthesize, in response to a reception of the first utterance control information, a first voice corresponding to a first phoneme in a phoneme sequence of a voice to be synthesized to output the first voice, a second receiver configured to receive second utterance control information generated by detecting a completion of the manipulation on the manipulating member or a manipulation on a different manipulating member, and a second synthesizer configured to synthesize, in response to a reception of the second utterance control information, a second voice including at least the first phoneme and a succeeding phoneme being subsequent to the first phoneme of the voice to be synthesized to output the second voice.
DIGITAL MUSICAL INSTRUMENT AND METHOD FOR MAKING THE SAME
A new and improved Digital Musical Instrument includes a hardware segment that electronically detects the physical inputs of a musicians musical playing style or articulated intent; a Software segment that interprets and formulates the data output from the hardware segment, to be applied to any digitally modulated synthesizer or recording sampler; and an optional expanded method of sampling or digitally recording articulated sounds of acoustic instruments.
AUDIO FOOT PEDAL
An audio foot pedal having an activation arrangement comprising a control button and a stationary part, the control button being secured to the stationary part for relative movement along a travel range, the activation arrangement providing a control signal in response to movement of said control button, the audio foot pedal further comprising at least one signal processing arrangement arranged to execute at least two different functional modes, wherein at least one of said functional modes, in response to said control signal, variably controls a signal processing of audio signals communicated to said at least one signal processing arrangement thereby producing an audio output signal to an audio output, and wherein said control signal also controls switching between said at least two functional modes.

Electronic percussion instrument
Provided is an electronic percussion instrument that is capable of simulating a playing technique for an acoustic percussion instrument. A tubular body part is opened on an axial end surface, and a head is attached to the axial end surface to be struck on the front surface. A capacitance sensor includes an electrode that generates a capacitance with respect to a detected conductor, such as a human body, positioned on the front surface side of the head. Because the capacitance sensor detects a change of a capacitance corresponding to a distance between the electrode and the detected conductor, whether the detected conductor approaches (contacts) the head or presses the head can be determined. As a result, the playing technique for the acoustic percussion instrument is simulated.
Electric acoustic apparatus
An electric acoustic apparatus includes a supply unit that supplies sound-generation information including timing information representing a start of a sound-generation, a storage storing sound control pattern data representing a pattern of over-time change of a parameter defining a behavior of a sound, a reproducer that reproduces the sound control pattern data, and a sound signal generator that generates a sound signal representing a sound according to the sound-generation information and changes the behavior of the sound based on the reproduced sound control pattern data. The reproducer controls a reproduction behavior of the sound control pattern data according to the sound-generation information.

ELECTRONIC MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS
Electronic musical instruments as disclosed, include sensors to digitize and alter the sound using FSR sensors in the mouthpieces and other elements of the instrument to mimic the variations available in analog instruments.
Enclosure with windows for audio effects and guitar pedals
One embodiment of a rigid enclosure 101 with window or openings 102 so that an audio effect producing apparatus 130 approximately aligned to the openings is contained within and partially viewable to the operator. The enclosure is made of a rigid protective material and in an embodiment screens electromagnetic interference from the outside. The enclosure contains necessary hardware and additional openings to attach control electronics 114, knobs, switches 113, and pass-throughs for electrical signals such as power 112, input 110, and output 111 which can be located anywhere on the enclosure.
