EFFECTS DEVICE AND EFFECTS PROCESSING METHOD
An input musical sound signal is input to band pass filters, and pass musical sound signals for each sound pitch are acquired. Total level ratios based on a total of levels of a sound pitch lower than those of the pass musical sound signals are calculated from the levels that are levels of the pass musical sound signals, and output coefficients are acquired on the basis of the total level ratios. Levels of octave musical sound signals acquired by converting the pass musical sound signals into sound pitches lower than those of the pass musical sound signals by one octave are multiplied by the output coefficients. In accordance with this, the octave musical sound signals of a low sound pitch can be extracted from among the octave musical sound signals.
Variable wind guitar pickup
A process for winding guitar pickups in which I tap in on different places on the bobbins giving the player the ability to change the number of windings and sound with switches.
Programmable signal processing and musical instrument setup system for stringed musical instruments, and method for programming and operating the system
A programmable signal processing and musical instrument setup system for stringed musical instruments, comprising at least one analog signal processing circuit, a control circuit operably coupled to at least one analog signal processing circuit, and a storage unit operably coupled to the control circuit, being arranged on the musical instrument for storing setup parameters for the musical instrument. The system comprises: a communication module with an individual identification information connected to the control circuit for enabling communication with an external programming device that has a storage unit configured for storing an individual identification information of at least one musical instrument, in association with the musical instrument in at least one configuration file. The external programming device is further configured for receiving and sending data to and from a selected musical instrument, when connected, wherein the data transferred to the musical instrument can be stored in the musical instrument and can be used after the external programming device is disconnected.
External Controller for an Intelligent Cable or Cable Adapter
A wireless controller that allows a musician to wirelessly switch between audio effect presets, loops, and/or songs which are stored in a specialized audio/instrument cable or adapter. The wireless controller can be located in the same place as (or incorporated into) a digital guitar tuner on a guitar headstock allowing the musician to operate the wireless controller in a familiar location while switching between audio effect presets, loops, and/or songs by tapping on small buttons.
Mixer apparatus
The present invention relates to a mixer apparatus (30) for mixing audio signals from a musical instrument (10). The mixer apparatus (30) comprises plural input circuits (34) and an audio signal mixer (36). Each of the plural input circuits (34) has an audio signal input which, in use, is coupled electrically with and thereby receives an audio signal from a different one of plural musical instrument pickups (32) comprised in the musical instrument. The audio signal mixer (36) receives audio signals from the plural input circuits (34) and mixes the received audio signals with one another. Each of the plural input circuits (34) comprises a linear active circuit in an audio signal path between the audio signal input and the audio signal mixer (36).
Acoustic device and acoustic control program
An acoustic device includes an audio recording playback unit, an analysis unit, and an acoustic effect imparting unit. The audio recording playback unit records and plays back string independent acoustic signals for each string independent acoustic signal. The string independent acoustic signals respectively correspond to different strings of a stringed instrument and being independent from each other. The analysis unit analyzes at least one string independent acoustic signal from among the recorded string independent acoustic signals. The acoustic effect imparting unit imparts an acoustic effect to the at least one string independent acoustic signal for each string independent acoustic signal, based on a result of the analysis by the analysis unit.
Wireless Switching System for Musical Instruments and Related Methods
Wirelessly programmed and controlled switching system for use with stringed musical instruments (e.g., guitars) to enable a user to seamlessly change pickup coil settings without having to adjust the physical connections between the switch and the pickups.
Connector device for electronic musical instruments comprising vibration transducer
A connector device for electronic musical instruments. The connector device comprising input electrical connector means that receives electrical signals generated by pickup means for an instrument. The instrument being played and a vibration transducer mechanically attached to the input electrical connector means or provided as an integral part of the input electrical connector means, such that vibrations from the instrument are transferred to the vibration transducer. The vibration transducer generates an electrical output signal based on the vibrations. The connector device comprises electrical output connector means that receives the electrical signals generated by the pickup means and the electrical output signal from the vibration transducer and provides these signals to equipment. The connector device further comprises a mixer that combines the signals v.sub.g(t) from the pickup means and the signal v.sub.vib(t) from the vibration transducer. The mixer provides output signal v.sub.o(t) that is a weighted combination of the input signals.
SELECTIVE TONE SHIFTING DEVICE
This invention is directed to a tone shifting device that includes an analog to digital (A/D) converter configured to receive an audio output from a musical instrument to convert it into a digital signal and to pass it to a computing unit; an input device configured to allow a player to select at least one note to be shifted in real time 10 during playing a musical instrument; a computing unit configured to receive the input signal from the A/D converter and a second input from the input device and to shift a selected note/s to a lower/higher tone in real time during playing; a digital to analog (D/A) converter configured to receive the signals from the computing unit and convert them to analog form; and an amplifier configured to receive the analog 15 signal from said D/A converted and play the played modified music through a loudspeaker of the amplifier. The tone shifting device allow selective shifting of a selected musical note in real time during playing.
Electronic control arm for musical instruments
An electronic vibrato system for a stringed instrument comprises an actuator and microcontroller which are disposed within a chassis. The control arm moves the actuator from a resting position to non-resting, rotated positions. The system is below a face of a stringed instrument such that the system has a disposed fulcrum within the instrument. The rotated positions impart resistive forces on said actuator and imparting control signals. The microcontroller processes said control signal and modulates pitch.
