WASHABLE AND DRY-CLEANABLE KNIT GARMENTS HAVING A PERMANENT PLEAT AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
One aspect of the invention provides a washable and dry-cleanable knit garment having a permanent pleat. The washable and dry-cleanable knit garment includes: a cotton-polyester blend knit fabric comprising at least 50% cotton; fusible interfacing fused to an interior surface of the cotton-polyester blend knit fabric to form a fabric-fusible assembly; and at least one permanent pleat formed in the fabric-fusible assembly. Another aspect of the invention provides a method of manufacturing a washable and dry-cleanable knit garment having a permanent pleat. The method includes: providing a cotton-polyester blend knit fabric comprising at least 50% cotton; applying fusible interfacing fused to an interior surface of the cotton-polyester blend knit fabric to form a fabric-fusible assembly; forming one or more pleats in the fabric-fusible assembly; and activating the fusible with a heat press.
GARMENT FOR REDUCING HOT FLUSHES OR RELIEVING ASSOCIATED SYMPTOMS
A wearable device, such as a garment or containing garment portions, for managing and/or reducing the symptoms of a hot flash in a subject. The device comprises: a first set of components, each comprising a fabric comprising a cooling yarn; a second set of components, each comprising a quick-dry wicking fabric; and a third set of components, each comprising a phase change material fabric, wherein the first set of components are adapted to cover at least a neckline region and a peripheral region that extends adjacently around the armpit and the clavicle of the subject; the second set of components are adapted to cover at least the abdominal muscles and the lumbar regions of the subject; and the third set of components are adapted to cover at least the mammary and the dorsum regions of the subject.
GARMENT
A garment for measuring biological information, wherein the garment is configured such that when a wearer wears the garment, a conductive member is easily disposed at a desired position on the wearer, and even when the wearer moves his/her arm or raises his/her arm, the conductive member is less likely to be displaced from the desired position on the wearer. The garment has a torso portion and a stretchable conductive member being formed on the garment with an adhesive layer interposed therebetween.
Knitted athletic performance garment
A knitted athletic performance garment includes a seamless panel to cover a portion of a wearer's body, a first performance zone and a second performance zone formed in the seamless panel, wherein the first performance zone is formed of a first warp knit stitch construction and has a first modulus, wherein the second performance zone is formed of a second warp knit stitch construction and has a second modulus, wherein the first warp knit stitch construction is different from the second warp knit stitch construction, wherein the first modulus is different from the second modulus, and wherein the difference in modulus between the first performance zone and the second performance zone is due to the difference in stitch construction between the first performance zone and the second performance zone.
Knitted Glove and Method for Producing Knitted Fabric Contained in Knitted Glove
A knitted glove includes a knitted fabric including, multiple stages of a first course each of which has a plurality of first loops and a first cross element to connect the first loops to each other and in which the plurality of first loops are aligned in the course direction; and multiple stages of a second course each of which has a plurality of second loops and in which the plurality of second loops are aligned in the course direction, the first knitting yarn constituting the first course has an elongation rate of 12.5% or more, a second knitting yarn includes a yarn containing a cut resistant fiber, between at least one set of two adjacent first loops in one stage of the first course, a loop in another stage of the courses is arranged, and the first cross element is knitted so as to cross over the loop.
Textiles and articles, and processes for making the same
Articles of wear having one or more textiles that include a low processing temperature polymeric composition and a high processing temperature polymeric composition, and methods of manufacturing the same are disclosed. The low processing temperature polymeric composition and the high processing temperature polymeric composition can be selectively incorporated into a textile to provide one or more structural properties and/or other advantageous properties to the article. The textile can be thermoformed to impart such structural and/or other advantageous properties to the article of wear. This abstract is intended as a scanning tool for purposes of searching in the particular art and is not intended to be limiting of the present disclosure.
FIBER PRODUCT AND METAL FIBER
A metal fiber included in a fiber product includes a tungsten wire having a diameter less than or equal to 22 μm. The tungsten wire may have, for example, a diameter less than or equal to 18 μm. The tungsten wire may have, for example, a diameter within a range from 20% less than 13 μm to 20% greater than 13 μm. In addition, the tungsten wire may have, for example, a diameter greater than or equal to 5 μm. Further, the tungsten wire may include, for example, pure tungsten. Moreover, the metal fiber may be, for example, a metal thread including a false-twisted yarn which is made of a chemical fiber and is wound.
Aerographics and denier differential zoned garments
The present disclosure relates to a multi-layered design for an article of apparel such as swimwear. In particular, at least one layer may include a stretch resistant matrix made of a thermoplastic polymer, a silicone or other similar material to provide additional support and modesty to certain areas of the apparel, such as the bust area. Further, a method of manufacturing the article of apparel is also disclosed. According to aspects described herein, the layers may be integrated using techniques to increase the overall integrity of the apparel.
