Positioning apparatus for biomedical use
A medical positioning apparatus including a telescopic member extending between first and second ends and having an adjustable length; a support member for receiving an object; a base member securable to a base; a first joint mechanism movably securing the support member to the first end of the telescopic member; a second joint mechanism including a housing with a top portion directly rotationally connected to the second end of the telescopic member, and at least one side portion directly rotationally connected to the base member and movably securing the base member to the second end of the telescopic member, a locking device operatively connected to the first and second joint mechanisms and the telescopic member, the locking device operable between a locked position and a released position; and a lock activation device to unlock the locking device biased in the locked position.
Adapter plane for surgical table, in particular for hip replacement surgery with anterior approach
Adapter plane (1) for surgical table, comprising a main portion (2) and a secondary portion (3) which defineat the top parta surface (4) for supporting the patient, said secondary portion (3) being arranged for supporting at least one pelvis portion of the patient, said adapter plane (1) being rigidly couplable above said surgical table with the main portion (2) overlapping the surgical table and the secondary portion (3) projecting with respect to the surgical table, at least the secondary portion (3) of said adapter plane (1) being made of radiotransparent material.
Surgical frame having translating lower beam and method for use thereof
A surgical frame and method for use thereof is provided. The surgical frame is capable of reconfiguration before, during, or after surgery. The surgical frame includes a translating beam that is moveable between at least a first lateral position and a second lateral position. The translating beam is used to join a first support portion and a second support portion of the surgical frame to one another, and movement of the translating beam affords access to a patient receiving area.
Accessory flat-top panel for use with surgical tables
An accessory flat-top panel for use with a surgical table includes a board adapted to support a patient, a left attachment pylon coupled to the board, and a right attachment pylon coupled to the board. The left and right attachment pylons are each formed to include channels sized to receive a rail included in a surgical table. The width of the board between a left side and a right side of the board is greater than the width of a pair of rails included in a surgical table to support portions of a patient wider than pair of rails included in the support top.
MOUNTING ASSEMBLY FOR A MAGNETIC FIELD GENERATOR
The present disclosure provides a mounting assembly for attaching medical equipment to a patient table. In one particular embodiment, the present disclosure provides a mounting assembly for attaching a magnetic field generator to a patient table. The mounting assembly allows for the secure attachment of the magnetic field generator to the patient table while also allowing for easy adjustment of the positioning and location of the magnetic field generator, even after the patient is on the table. In many embodiments the mounting assembly is comprised of a mounting apparatus that attaches directly to the patient table and first and second side rails that attach to the magnetic field generator and are configured to slidably attach to the mounting apparatus. In some embodiments, the mounting apparatus and side rails are constructed of a material that provides little or no interference with the magnetic field generator.

PERSON SUPPORT APPARATUSES FOR SUBJECT REPOSITIONING
Support pad assemblies and person support apparatuses are disclosed. A person support apparatus includes a base frame, a longitudinal frame coupled to the base frame, and a support deck supported on the longitudinal frame. The longitudinal frame extends in a longitudinal direction and the support deck is adjustable from a planar configuration to a concave configuration or a convex configuration.
Pelvic support, base support having such a pelvic support and method to distract at least one lower extremity
A pelvic support configured to support a pelvis and configured to take up at least one tensile stress, wherein the tensile stress is initiated in at least one lower extremity connected to the pelvis, comprising at least one support, wherein the at least one support comprises at least one supporting surface, wherein the at least one supporting surface is arranged near at least one of a ischial tuberosity of the pelvis and is configured to take up the tensile stress at the at least one ischial tuberosity.
Positioning apparatus for biomedical use
A medical positioning apparatus for positioning and holding an object, including: a telescopic member; a support member for receiving the object; a base member securable to a base; a first and a second joint mechanism movably securing the telescopic member to the support member and the base member and each having at least two rotational degrees of freedom; a locking device operatively connected to the joint mechanisms and the telescopic member, the locking device operable between a locked position in which the configuration of the positioning apparatus is fixed, and a released position in which the configuration of the positioning apparatus may be changed, the locking device being passively biased in the locked position; and a lock activation device to unlock the locking device in order to change the configuration of the positioning apparatus.
