Birthing chair
10973722 · 2021-04-13 ·

A birthing chair for facilitating labor and delivery of an infant. The birthing chair comprises a seat having a seat base and a detachable seat cushion. The seat base forms an aperture for delivery of an infant therethrough. Leg extensions may be attachable to the seat base for supporting the legs of the mother. The seat base may comprise a joint that opens and moves the seat base and leg extensions laterally and expands the size of the aperture in the seat base. The birthing chair may further comprise a suspension system that enables the mother to operate the chair to adjust her position and height at will. The suspension system allows the mother to move in any direction while seated in the birthing chair and still remain supported in the birthing chair. The suspension system may be adjustable. The birthing chair may further comprise a back, headrest, stirrups and handles.

PATIENT FACE SHEET

The present disclosure relates generally to a patient face sheet for a therapy treatment table including a headrest. The patient face sheet may be used in conjunction with an optional pillow including a face opening which is positioned to align with the corresponding opening in the headrest. The patient face sheet comprises a main panel to which a protective skirt is connected. The main panel includes a central and generally circular-shaped opening about which the protective skirt is connected. The protective skirt is draped within both the face hole and the corresponding hole to provide substantially full shielding of the optional pillow and the headrest from the patient's head.

DILATION INSTRUMENT WITH NAVIGATION AND DISTALLY LOCATED FORCE SENSOR
20210085402 · 2021-03-25 ·

A system includes a dilation catheter and a guide member. The dilation catheter includes a proximal end, a distal end, a dilator, a navigation sensor, and a force sensor. The dilator is positioned proximal to the distal end and is configured to transition between a non-dilated configuration and a dilated configuration. The navigation sensor is positioned distal to the dilator and is configured to cooperate with a guidance system and thereby provide signals indicating a position of the dilation catheter in three-dimensional space. The force sensor is positioned distal to the dilator and is configured to provide signals indicating a force encountered by the force sensor. The dilation catheter is configured to slide relative to the guide member. A distal portion of the guide member is sized and configured to fit in a nasal cavity of a patient.

ELECTRIC ADJUSTMENT DEVICE FOR SOFA HEADREST AND SOFA SUPPORT DEVICE
20210059423 · 2021-03-04 ·

An electric adjustment device for sofa headrest includes a first fixing member, a second fixing member, and a drive device having an output end that linearly reciprocates. One end of the second fixing member is pivotally connected to the first fixing member, and the drive device is pivotally connected to the first fixing member and arranged flush with the first fixing member. A sliding direction of the output end is perpendicular to a pivotal axis about which the second fixing member is pivotable to the first fixing member. Specifically, the second fixing member is extended downward to form a fixed end for fixing to a backrest support frame. The electric adjustment device is installed in the headrest support frame instead of the backrest support frame, so that other functional parts are installed inside internal space of the backrest support frame which improves the function of the sofa.

Non-restraining neck collar

A neck collar can include a unitary foam pillow having extending from a first side first and second collar straps that extend opposite one another and terminate in respective distal ends separated by a space having a first distance in a relaxed state. The neck collar can also include an elastically deformable spring member embedded in the unitary foam pillow, the elastically deformable spring member being generally C-shaped in the relaxed state and having portions extending into both of the first and second collar straps. The elastically deformable spring member can be deformed such that the first distance is increased to a second distance.

Dental patient chair

A mechanism for a reclining having a headrest and a backrest movable with respect to a seat, the backrest being supported by a reclining mechanism which includes an arc fastened to pads sliding in guiding plates, actuated by a motoreducer, and a mobile trapezoidal lever that is mobile backward and forward and that supports a bottom roller that is stationary and a top roller that is integral with the frame of the seat. The rollers are pivotable around axes that are parallel and are perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the chair, so that, simultaneously with the shifting of the pads along the guiding plates, the frame of the seat performs a rheonomous tilting movement, upward or downward of its end corresponding to the anterior end of the chair seat.

POSITIONING DEVICE FOR SUPPORTING AND STABILIZING A SPINAL POSITION OF A PATIENT

A positioning device includes a base extending in a horizontal plane, a support post extending along a vertical axis, a detachable headrest subassembly attached to an end of the support post opposite the base, an arm rest subassembly attached to the support post between the headrest subassembly and the base, a thoracic support subassembly attached to the support post between the armrest subassembly and the base, A thoracic support cushion is attached to the support post by a bar. The attachment is reconfigurable to vary an orientation and location of the cushion with respect to the vertical axis, a footrest subassembly attached to the support post between the thoracic support subassembly and the base, and a digital device holder attached to the positioned device by a flexible arm, the flexible arm configured to support a digital device in view of the patient during use of the positioning device.

ADAPTIVE ERGONOMIC POSITIONING DEVICE
20210212876 · 2021-07-15 ·

The herein described Adaptive Ergonomic Positioning device (AEPD) relates generally to the field of surgery and other medical or healthcare procedures. The AEPD can be adapted for use with most standard surgical tables and surgical chairs where the patient must be positioned prone during a particular procedure. The AEPD may also be used for certain procedures where the patient may be positioned supine. The AEPD support assemblies are highly adjustable and deliver improved ergonomics for both patients and providers. Patients of different morphology can be comfortably positioned in prone with their head and neck in a neutral position, and shoulders in a forward flexed, slightly internally rotated position. The AEPD can be adjusted to accommodate patients with neck and shoulder mobility restrictions, without any effect on provider accessibility to the surgical or treatment site.

Dilation instrument with navigation and distally located force sensor
