MOLDABLE BACKBONE FOR POSITIONING DEVICE
A support (10) for supporting a neonate is provided. The support (10) includes a body portion (12) including a shapeable material (16). The body portion (12) is configured for adjustment during use. A silicone layer (14) surrounds the body portion (12). The body portion (12) is (i) sufficiently pliable to enable adjustment thereof to conform to a shape of the neonate upon application of a stimulus (24) to the body portion (12), and (ii) sufficiently stiff to provide support for, and resist movements of, the neonate in the absence of the stimulus (24).
One side breathing hole massage cushion
A massage cushion is provided, using a semi-solid foam board to be the a filler of the massage cushion, so we can open a breathing hole on one side of massage cushion, and open a ditch in the form of a horizontal air channel connected to the breathing hole. Accordingly, the fabric case of the massage cushion is opened into a breathing hole at the same location, and has two or three stainless steel airholes closer the outlet of air channel. In this manner, the massage cushion becomes one side breathing hole cushion, having one side for massage and the other side can be used for gym exercises.
Systems and methods for a surgical positioning exoskeleton system
Various embodiments of a system and associated method for a surgical positioning apparatus for supporting a patient in supine, lateral, kidney and prone position are disclosed herein.
Controls for surgical support apparatus
Devices, systems, and methods for patient support include arrangement of a patient support top for rotation and a rotation lockout assembly for selectively blocking against rotation of the patient support top.
Multi-function adaptable lift system
A lift system has a back panel and a seat panel to provide a seat for a user. The back panel is slidably mounted on a support column via slider so that the back panel can be moved up and down to adjust the seat height. The seat panel can be flipped back to accommodate a user in a standing posture when the back panel is in an upright position. The back panel, together with the support column, can be oriented in a horizontal position and the seat panel can be adjusted similarly to support a user in a lying posture. With the support column, the lift system can be attached to a wheeled frame for mobility, but it can also be attached to a pole, a rotatable arm, a wall or a ceiling depending on the need of the user.
Bed apparatus
To provide a bed apparatus that permits the bed to be tilted only when the knee bottom in the bed apparatus is raised so as to be able to positively prevent the user from slipping to the foot side when the bed is tilted. The bed apparatus includes: a tilting driver that can perform a tilting operation of the upper frame so as to create difference in height between the head side and the foot side and, at least, lower the foot side; and, an operational state detector that detects that a knee bottom actuation assembly for raising and lowering the knee bottom is operable. The tilting driver performs the tilting operation when the knee bottom forms an angle of 0 degrees or greater relative to the ground and when the operational state detector has detected that the knee bottom actuation assembly is operable.
ROTATION LOCKOUT FOR SURGICAL SUPPORT
Devices, systems, and methods for patient support include arrangement of a patient support top for rotation and a rotation lockout assembly for selectively blocking against rotation of the patient support top.
SLEEPING OR RECLINING FURNITURE, ANALYZING UNIT FOR A SENSOR OF SLEEPING OR RECLINING FURNITURE, AND METHOD FOR ANALYZING SIGNALS OF A SENSOR
The invention relates to an analyzing unit (9) for connecting to at least one sensor (12) which can be coupled to sleeping or reclining furniture in order to detect vibrations, movement, and/or sound. The analyzing unit (9) is designed to process and analyze the signals of the at least one sensor (12) and detect physiological parameters (P) of a person using the sleeping or reclining furniture, and the analyzing unit (9) is designed to transmit data to or exchange data with at least one external component. The invention further relates to a method for analyzing signals of at least one such sensor (12) and to sleeping or reclining furniture, in particular a bed (1), comprising at least one such sensor (12).
MATTRESS AND PIECE OF SLEEPING OR RECLINING FURNITURE HAVING A MATTRESS
The invention relates to a mattress (30) for a piece of sleeping or reclining furniture, having at least one sensor (12) arranged in the mattress (30) for sensing vibrations, motion, and/or sound. The mattress (30) is characterized in that the mattress has at least one element for receiving structure-borne sound, to which the at least one sensor (12) is coupled. The invention further relates to a piece of sleeping or reclining furniture, in particular a bed (1), having such a mattress (30).
