An electromagnetic camouflage shield comprises a flexible conductive layer and a textile layer. The shield includes at least one outward facing fibrous face, and is creped with at least 5% increased elongation to enhance its flexibility and effective EM thickness. The conductive layer can be the textile layer, or a separate layer. In embodiments, the conductive layer is one of a woven that incorporates metallic yarns, a textile having an electroless plated metal coating, a metal mesh, a thin layer of foil, and an elastomeric layer having a conductive and/or ferrite filler. The textile layer can be a woven or non-woven. Embodiments are fashioned into shirts, pants, and/or other clothing, and can provide drape and moisture vapor transport for enhanced comfort.

Fabric with embedded electrical components

A fabric-based item may include fabric such as woven fabric having insulating and conductive yarns or other strands of material. The conductive yarns may form signal paths. Electrical components can be embedded within pockets in the fabric. Each electrical component may have an electrical device such as a semiconductor die that is mounted on an interposer substrate. The electrical device may be a light-emitting diode, a sensor, an actuator, or other electrical device. The electrical device may have contacts that are soldered to contacts on the interposer. The interposer may have additional contacts that are soldered to the signal paths. The fabric may have portions that form transparent windows overlapping the electrical components or that have other desired attributes.

Apparel Collection Management with Product Modifications

A system allows a user to create new designs for apparel and preview these designs before manufacture. Software and lasers are used in finishing apparel to produce a desired wear pattern or other design. Users may collaborate while designing the apparel and designate what items should belong in specific collections.

METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING A GARMENT PORTION
20220117364 · 2022-04-21 ·

A method for assembling a garment portion including accessing a first garment portion, a second garment portion and a fixture, wherein the first garment portion is generally tubular and has two plies. The method further includes positioning the first garment portion on the fixture such that the fixture is positioned in the first garment portion, and wrapping the second garment portion about the first garment portion. The method further includes unrolling or unfolding at least part of the first garment portion over the second garment portion such that the second garment portion is positioned between the two plies of the first garment portion.

STRETCHABLE GARMENTS AND MANUFACTURING METHOD

A one-size-fits-all garment (10) is formed of multiple stretchable fabric portions (2) joined together by a PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) thread (38). The garment includes a waistband (6) that uses a paper fusing technique to fuse a fusing material from a paper backing sheet (18, 18A, 18B), onto the waistband which is also joined to the stretchable fabric portions using PBT thread. A method for forming the garment includes using a sheet of carrier paper with a fusing material such as a plurality of discrete dots of fusing material, to the waistband and sewing the multiple stretching stretchable fabric portions together and to the waistband using the PBT thread.

WOVEN TRIM PIECE

A woven trim piece is provided that utilizes “grip” yarns in the warp direction to increase the coefficient of friction of the trim piece. The grip yarns are interlaced with a plurality of filling yarns to form a repeating pattern of floats on a first face of the trim piece, such that a high percentage of the first face of the trim piece comprises grip yarns.

Recommendations and Allocations in an Apparel Management System

A system allows a user to create new designs for apparel and preview these designs before manufacture. Software and lasers are used in finishing apparel to produce a desired wear pattern or other design. The system guides how the user is allocating apparel items in the system, including feedback on what the user may like to change.

SWIMSUIT

The present invention relates to a swimsuit 23 including an elastic polyurethane yarn. The elastic polyurethane yarn contains; 0.5 to 10 mass % of a cationic high-molecular-weight compound A having a number-average molecular weight of 2000 or more; and an inorganic chlorine deterioration inhibitor B. The mass ratio of the cationic high-molecular-weight compound A to the inorganic chlorine deterioration inhibitor B ranges from 0.3 to 3, and a silicone oil is applied to the elastic polyurethane yarn. A fabric for the swimsuit is treated with water repellent finishing. The swimsuit 23 preferably includes an elastic polyurethane yarn whose ratio of fluorine (F) to carbon (C) on the elastic polyurethane yarn is 0.030 or more in an elemental mass concentration according to scanning electron microscope-energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM-EDX). Thereby, it is possible to provide a swimsuit with high water repellency, low water retention rate, and high buoyancy.

Device for Threading Eyebrows and Facial Hair
20220015479 · 2022-01-20 ·

This present invention relates to an eyebrow threading or facial hair removal tool comprising a headband having a thread line holding clip. The headband comprises three headbands or layers sewn together and is designed to be worn comfortably as a band around the head of a user. The tool maintains the clip oriented towards the front of the head of the user. The clip secures the thread line to keep the line taut while performing eyebrow threading or facial hair removal. The tool eliminates the need to hold the thread line in the user's mouth and allows the user to wear a face mask while threading, thereby inhibiting the risk of contracting germs, viruses, bacteria, and other pathogens.
